I would be interested to know how long benzos would be detectable in the urine?

Erowid says that benzodiazepines can be detected by a urinalysis up to 42 days after use.
I am sure that longer acting benzos such as Klonopin (clonazepam) can be detected for a longer period of time than shorter acting benzos such as Xanax (alprazolam) and Valium (diazepam).

Man 42 days? Thats kinda scary and unsafe. Friend's in the military and they conduct random urine test for its personnel. He's getting all edgy and paraniod over the whole idea. If I would to tell him 42 days he most probably get all shaky. Anyone can provide a clearer picture ?

I don't think you could detect them 42 days after use if you ran a full scale GC/MS analysis .. the probation type "quick tests" will only show benzos use for about the same amount of time as any other drug (aside from marijuanja) - 48-72 hours after peak... they have a special urine test for Rohypnol that claims to be accurate up to 5 full days after use..
