i have had pains in my legs similar to restless leg syndrome (but 24/7, not just at night) for going on 2 years now.
ive tried alot of medications and lifestyle changes but nothing has helped.
i'm currently on xanax (1-2mg once or twice a day) and the NSAID celebrex 100mg once a day.

so i have an EMG/nerve study coming up, but i'm curious if my current meds will interfere with any results that my be captured.
i mainly use the xanax to sleep, not much during the day and i haven't noticed any difference since starting on celebrex, but i find the pain is worse one month whilst not so bad the next.

just want to make sure i don't ruin any chances of the EMG picking up anything...

I seriously doubt they would. If your doctor/specialist aware of the medications you're taking (sounds like you're prescribed them...) then even if interference occurs, they should be able to mitigate it.

all good, just been an uphill battle getting any help, so don't want to fuck up the one test i've been able to get lol
