Benzos Benzos Interfering with Quality of Sleep.

I know Temazepam does not effect sleep as MUCH as other Benzos. But if one were to say take a benzo like Lorazepam which lasts 4-6 hours and go to bed roughly a bit longer than 3 hours after taking it would sleep structure still be effected since the body does not go into R.E.M. Sleep until at least 2 hours after falling asleep? Or am I totally wrong and the Lorazepam being in your body Active or not will fuck your sleep up.

Could be dose dependent, and would probably vary from person to person.

I have had someone tell me how they feel fine waking up after sleeping on xanax and they don't feel "hungover" like I do. Benzos vary a lot from person to person.

There's just too many variables to pinpoint one or even several causes since everyone reacts to benzos in a variety of manners. I wish I could give you a more concrete answer, but the brain and medication can sometimes be a very tricky place to study and we don't know a great deal.

The earlier you take the dose, the better your sleep quality will be, definitely. Your sleep architecture will still be impacted though.
