Benzos benzos (etiz specifically) actually increasing anxiety ?

Has anyone heard of benzos (etiz specifically) actually increasing anxiety (as measured by hand tremor) whilst you are taking them. In the same way that cigarettes increase stress IMO

Im getting an intermittent very very bad nd estremely embarasing tremor tremor. I can only think its the benzos causing it. Other factors are coffee, lack of proper sleep, smoking far too much, stress, and not getting laid.

Does someone have any thoughts on this ?

It's not even necessarily anxiety. Tremor is common with benzo abuse, and it is a hallmark of benzo w/d. Etizolam in particular is known to cause other spasmc movements such as blepharospasms with regular use.

I haven't used benzos at all in the past year, but used etizolam @ 1mg on one occasion about two weeks ago and had a tremor the next day.

if your not on them right now yeah of course, but not if your on them obviously, or maybe just tolerance?

most likley the caffiene and lack of sleep, caffiene just halts benzos working and lack of sleep well fuck man get some sleep! just take a break from everything and havea day of rest and sleep

try somitex (promethazine) works a treat even when soffering from insomnia.

sleep is the most important thing in life, without it you go crazy man! sleep is my no.1 priority in life, no matter what drugs im on i always make sure i have a nice sleep

unless your tolerance is high and you're under dosing i don't think etiz normally does this. Sometimes it gives me hiccups or shit like that for some reason but that's it. In withdrawal though, definitely hand tremors and other terrible things.

you know its weird, sometimes when im on opiates or benzos i get more anxious sometimes - and recently i think i know what i've attributed it to. the fact that i'm consciously doing something wrong/bad and hence i get anxious and bite my nails more than usual. it's odd.

opiates often make me anxious especially mixed with benzos, constantly worrying that i am gonna OD and trying not to nod out or fall asleep. I've been dependent on benzos for a couple months now and think, 'what the fuck am i doing?'. I think i'll have to just taper off and go back to kratom. I get that same feeling and it causes me anxiety, like i'm fucking up my life and know it.

yeah thats what happens with me with i mix the two.

but when i take them singularly (benzos that is) i get more anxious as i think - fuck i'm getting deeper and deeper into the addiction pool and i know exactly how bad it is to withdraw from these fuckers... it makes me more anxious and nervous when i take benzos when in reality they should be doing the opposite. the only time i really get a good feeling out of them is when i take a LOT of em so i can't think properly.
