Benzos benzos dont work?

personally,,,,,i get no high off any benzos.....i popped like 15 kpins and felt nothing....so soetimes i dont understand why people say ....take 30 of temazepam if u have no "tollerance"....especially when i popped 5 30's last night and felt no different......sleep wise its great....i haven't gotten a chance to fuck with the xanies yet, but i have a script and 1mg got me kind of drunk...in general....does anyone agree with me that benzos hdont do much recreationally wise?

Yeah it's not like opiates or other drugs. If you have some anxiety, then you'll definately feel some relief, that's what they're made for (and for muscle problems and sleep).
Otherwise, on themselves they're not recreationnal at all, but they can potentiate other drugs (be careful with that though).

benzos do "work"... they work as anxiolytics, hypnotics, and muscle relaxers amongst other things... these three effects combined can be quite pleasant for someone who is tense and anxious....

granted not everyone enjoys them... maybe you should be glad you don't, benzo addiction is nasty stuff

i see absolutely zero recreational potential out of benzos...there is no euphoria at all, i take benzos by themselves and i just get about as emotionless and apathetic as a person can get...sure i dont have any anxiety but who cares, wheres the fun in that???

i cant tell you how many people i know just love benzos, claim they are a great time..i just dont get it...

Well I declare, if this isn't the hundredth thread we've seen on medicinal/recreational inefficacy of benzodiazepines...

A lot of people experience this, benzos are a hit and miss drug/category fo drugs for a lot of people/users.

I'm considering making not just a "Benzo Mega Thread" but also a "Benzos Don't Work Mega Thread".

Anyways, you're taking very high doses for someone with no benzo tolerance, do you have previous benzo experience?

Temazepam is a more subtle, very euphoric benzo, which appears to work better in smaller doses. It is absolutely fantastic for sleep but can also be highly euphoric in the "sweet spot".

I never, ever got positive effects from clonazepam, so I am not surprised you don't feel much of a high from them.

How many benzo experiences have you had?

For one reason or another, very few benzos have an "intense" high and are more "subtle". The only benzodiazepine that I could really classify as an "intense" high is IV midazolam. And that's not exactly common nor plentiful where I live/come from.

That's because temazepam doesn't interfere with REM sleep; a huge plus for insomniacs like me.

If your body needs them for social situations/anxiety attacks/etc, you will most certainly feel a bit of euphoria. Very subtle drug, but a good one nonetheless. Do not take more than once or twice a month, especially valium, which will stay in your system for two weeks. Xanax and K-Pins will be out in a day or two. Again, a very subtle, but very relaxing drug. I like, but not enough to ever abuse and end up seriously fucked up in the head.

I don't know if you have, but if you have not, take a look at most benzo threads and you will find that there is a huge number of people who feel benzos are not recreational. They're great medications, though. For anxiety they work wonders. I am one who feels that benzos have 'zero' fun factor.

Yes, they may make you feel drunk. Sleepy and / or drunk. That doesn't = fun to me. I take them for anxiety and or sleeping. I'd stop wasting time/money on benzos because you aren't going to run into any surprises. If you want to feel high take something else.

If the benzos are generic thats why you don't feel shit. My sub dr. who also prescribes me my xanax quoted " I would not give a generic benzo to my fuckin dog" He told me though I don't know they honest truth behind this... that generic drugs particularly benzos are required to have 90%-110% of the actual drug in the pill and that the drug only has to be in the pill it DOES NOT have to release in the bloodstream most are just eaten and sweated, pissed, shit out with you getting very little, that is why I pay the extra cash for name brand bars. I can eat 5-6 wagon wheel (2mg alprozolam) and feel almost nothing compared to the name brands. Again this is what my Dr. said that doesn't mean it's true.
