I recently got out of rehab for xanax. I went because I thought I had a problem, but going there made me only realize how bad my anxiety really is. I can barely leave the house now. I panic so bad if I have to go in a store or go around ppl. I went to my family dr and was gonna see if she would put me on klonopin, but somehow she knew I was in a rehab. I didn't tell her. So anyway, she won't put me on anything and before I left her office she said "don't let me query you and find out you getting them somewhere else" So what exactly does she mean by this and if I decide to go to a new dr can I get in trouble? I'm not trying to dr shop. I just want to start over with a new dr and get back on maybe klonopin since the Benzos are the only thing that helps me. Any suggestions?

You can do whatever the fuck you want. It would be against the law for her to call up your new doctor and tell them if you don't sign a release.
