benzo's are making me more anxious

alot of people get more anxious on benzos because of enzyme defincancys.

An enzyme deficiency would make the bezno last longer, not make it less effective, as no benzo is truly a prodrug: some have active metabolites, but all are active on their own and don't really need their metabolites therapeutically. An enzyme deficiency would cause the liver not to be able to eliminate the drug from the bloodstream, keeping you benzoed for longer.

Diazepam is a slight exception, but O-Desmethyldiazepam and the small amount of other metabolites, like temazepam, aren't nearly active compared to its parent drugs at the low doses they are metabolized in to.

Drinking WGFJ or taking cimetidine is basically inducing an "enzyme deficiency," as your CYP3A4 and 2D6 enzymes are inhibited by WGFJ (Bergamottin, dihydroxybergamottin, and naringin) or cimetidine, making them inactive until the potentiator wears off.

lol when i was young and stupid, i gave my dog a 10mg valium tablet to calm her down cuz she was eating shoes, clothes, you name it. i learned the hard way, my dog was super hyper after giving her the valium, did the complete opposite...since valium is RXed to animals to, there ya go, benzos can cause oposite effects to anyone, including animals

^good idea, benzos can really fuck peoples lives up, and the dangerous physical dependency properties. ill stick with just methadone personally as oxy/hydrocodone doesnt do a damn thing for me anymore
