Benzos Benzos and euphoria

i think we can agree there's a "benzo euphoria" and then there's real euphoria..
I dunno...maybe we can't agree..w/e..
I have yet to feel euphoria from benzo's, but i haven't given up yet.

alcohol is not euphoric for me...as i choose not to drink poison..sorry can't answer that one.

Same here. I'm willing to try most benzos though.
 
I hate alcohol. I love benzodiazepines, but I'm more than done abusing them, I just got off a decade of high dose benzodiazepine therapy and my tolerance is permafucked. It's been over a year since I ended my huge addiction, but in my ten years of benzodiazepine therapy, I have not tried a single benzo (and I've tried just about every benzo available for prescription in the US and Mexico) that produces something I would call euphoria.

Some feel good, but not euphoric, like flunitrazepam is kinda nice in a really mild and subtle way, temazepam is the one most people are in love with, I don't fully understand what the hype is about because I've tried it in huge doses and again, felt good, but nothing I'd call euphoria.

Alprazolam and euphoria.... lmao, not gunna happen.

I may be wrong but i guess "real" euphoria can be defined by the substance having a physical effect on parts of the brain that are considered to produce euphoria. Where as pseudo euphoria may be an indirect euphoria caused by you simply enjoying how something makes you feel? I wonder if alcohol would be considered euphoric. Im sure most people would agree that it does give some form of pseudo euphoria.

If your looking for an opiate like euphoria and don't like alcohol then I admit searching for a benzo with those qualities will be in vain.The class just can't beat opioids if you want the "OMG, I feel so great!" euphoria.

In the US besides Xanax Restoril is one of the best benzos. It's a bit weaker for some, but many like it, including me.Even if it doesn't give the euphoric effects you seek, it's the best sleeping pill on the market. It relaxes you to sleep, seems to last exactly 8 hours, at some doses doesn't block REM sleep, waking up feeling refreshed, and for me gave a pleasant 'hangover', yet still alert.I think it'd be more popular in the us if it came in 60mg doses, or if they released the Normison gel caps. They're faster acting and supposedly stronger even though the dose is lower.The old ones were slammable, but they changed the formula to deter abuse. They would still be faster acting orally, just not as fast as the old ones.

The one benzo that comes closest to giving an opiate like euphoria is Rohypnol. It's still not heroin or oxy, but IMO it's the best of that class. Sadly it's become harder to get, thanks to date rapist:!. If you ask for it in Mexico they'll likely give you Rivotril("See, it says R2 on, it's roches"). It pop up from time to time, but there's many counterfeits. Some actually contain flunitrazepam, others are just other benzos with an R2 stamped on it.

The only downers that seem to come close to an opiate like euphoria are the short-acting barbs like Seconal or Nembutal, GHB, or methaqualone. Barbs are very hard to get, GHB ain't as common as it use to be, and good luck getting a Quaalude/Mandrax with real clean methaqualone.

I've heard many say this, your not alone. I think it caught on in other countries because the gelcaps were slammable, then it filter out into the general drug using population.

Pseudo means fake. Euphoria is a state of elation, great happiness, and well being. Alcohol produces a pleasant effect for many people. How can a state of elation/happiness be fake? You could argue that all drug induced euphoria is pseudoeuphoria, since it's not something like sex/love, mania, or just being in a great mood.
 
The main benzos i want to try now is carisoprodol and temazepam. And i might even try some barbiturates while i'm at it hehe. I'm actually not even looking for euphoria anymore i just want to feel super relaxed.

Hehe this thread just made benzos number one on my drug list. I'm curious as hell now.

I used to take 3 400mg meprobamates before bed, and when i abused them it felt so relaxing, i wouldn't be able to tell the difference if i was blindfolded and given a 350mg carisprodol or a 400mg meprobamate... that being said when i did that combo of benzos, (nitraz, lopraz, oxaz) at the same time as my methadone (which has no "high" effect at all), but the combination felt like a meprobamate combined with morphine type high at least when it hit me for the first half hour or so, it wa so overwhelming that i left my friends chattng in my living room and went to lie in bed and listen to music feeling orgasmic for 20-30 minutes... then it toned down a bit into aa more benzo/carisproodol type high... but i'm talking BIG amounts of Nitrazepam in the mix to get the carisprodol/meprobamate effect...

Benzos I want to try.
-Triazolam, I heard it's really strong.
-Nimetazepam, Popular benzo in Asia.Similar to Flunitrazepam without the fluorine. Only legal in Japan. Often really mimics with nitrazepam or diazepam.

Doesn't methaqualone act in part by binding to the BZD receptors? Too bad it's not really studied in the modern times much. Seemed unique among hypnotics.

There's probably hundreds of possible benzos. Maybe Pfizer or Hoffmann-La Roche has one benzo comparable to barb like hypnotics, either missed in bio-assays or hidden away due to side effects or abusability.

Real Mandrax is all over the place in Cape Town South Africa, smoked with weed in the poorer areas. Are you saying it compares to opiates in euphoria? If so ill give it a shot. Thanks. Consider that I dont find normal benzos euphoric at all.

Well as i said i think i good way to differentiate is to compare chemically induced euphoria to subjective euphoria caused by the individual enjoying a feeling that somebody else may not.
 
Temazepam, nitrazepam, triazolam, and lormetazepam are benzos which have been euphoric in my experiences, particularly temazepam.

I also enjoy flunitrazepam, loprazolam, brotizolam, diazepam, bromazepam, and midazolam.


I think alprazolam, clonazepam and lorazepam are a complete waste of time recreationally (especially alprazolam).
