I have a wonderful girlfriend who says she understands I simply can't come due to tapering benzos.
At first I thought pregabs were to blame, but I haven't taken any in weeks now, I recently went from 70 to 80mg methadone, which could be contributing, but as I reduce benzos will this subside, or will I have to wait until I'm off them?
I'm sure as my dose lowers it'll happen, but I feel like shit cause even though she's beautiful and very good in bed, 50mg diazepam, sometimes 3-4mg etizolam is making it impossible for me. I fear it might be making her self conscious.
I still get erections no problem, but bless her she really wants me to come. This is also now getting into my head, and I worry I'm broken or because I'm approaching 40, testosterone could be an issue. I did manage to successfully masturbate when thinking of one of our recent sex sessions, but I had to really go for it and almost gave up. Ugh embarrassing.
I want off ASAP.
Can anyone give me reassurance this has happened to them?
Could mushrooms or acid affect this too? They're the only drugs we do recreationally other than a bit of drinking.

I have no experience with methadone personally but been on several opioids and been in your exact shoes with tapering benzos while having a mate

But for me it was temporary it's mainly just due to the sedatives and the fact that you're not in homeostasis because you're going thru withdrawals so it should go away with time as you get off the meds and get more used to your methadone dosage but no matter what the methadone is always going to make it a little harder because your body is getting more dopamine from that than you would get from having an orgasm

Not to mention since you already know it's likely to happen and you're thinking about that instead of relaxing and enjoying yourself half of it is probably mental as well

But if it's any consolation I was addicted to like 400 mg of Xanax a day and eventually I still went back to normal 👍
 
i have no experience with psychedelics dulling sex drive..

even when i was a teen i couldn't ejaculate or get into sex while on kilonipin. when i stop i'm usually pretty horny the day after (i have no experience with using for more than weeks at a time), but i notice my semen isn't as thick the day after even if i only use for a day or two..

Drugs are a big problem when it cums to sexual performance. You either have to replace drugs with something less inhibiting or stop taking the that are affecting your metabolism. Sometimes your body will adjust to medication and return to functioning properly, sometimes not.
 
Well, you know I do HR work and I don't remember anyone on juice even mentioning a sex life.

In her book 'Heroin Users', Tam Stewart gives a woman's perspective on a lot of opioids and concludes by noting they tend to utterly block sex drive - so I can only presume you subsist solely on red meat and sweat testostarone if you still HAVE a sex drive.

Use it you your advantage. I hate telling tales but I'm on pain meds and more than one partner had called a halt after about 30 minutes because they said it was 'gettng sore'. Go drive the ladies wild, my good man!
 
benzos make me cum without being able to tell, like if im not looking and using an onahole/fleshlight sometimes i wont even realize i came, and cant tell you're going to cum, and cum much faster and easier, and just dull the sensation in general
they dont prevent erections at all whatsoever for me though and dont lower my libido at all, quite the opposite actually, hate having to clean up while sedated though.
benzos ive experienced this with are lorazepam and bromazolam, i went like a year cranking my hog on bromazolam every time, until i realized how much benzos were effecting it when I switched to lorazepam which I dosed later in the evening after i jerked off, big difference!
 
I would blame the opiates because i cant cum on them at all. I dated this girl for months and maybe came once the whole time we where dating and fucking maybe once. She was hot as fuck and really kinky but i couldnt even cum from anal. Fortunately she was a opiate addict to so she knew how hard it was to cum on them though i did make her squirt after she shot up morphine or heroin so thats a point of pride with me lol

As for benzos or z drugs i can cum fine unless im on really high doses
 
Old thread, but not too long after creating this thread, and I found myself slowly but surely reducing my benzo intake, all was resolved.
The methadone really doesnt seem to factor in after being on it for many years, but I recall when I first started on it it was also terrible for affecting sex drive.
All sedative drugs seem to have this affect, pregabalin being another major culprit!
 
never done opioids, benzos have this effect on me, with diazapam specifically even given it's long half life i'm usually fine after t+8 hours after sublingual dose, pregabalin t+12 to 14 hours.
