Ok quite a naive topic I know, but I'd like to be clued up on the dangers.

Basically, in combination of each other the result is a blackout right?

But what if I took a valium (10mg) or xanax(2mg), then wanted to drink the day after (say 18 hours later), would that be fine.


What about a small dose of valium (5mg) after a session of drink and stimulants, is that dangerous?

For the sake of HR I have to start out saying combining CNS depressants is dangerous. If your gonna do it start small...say you normally have ten drinks, have have five and a low dose (5mg diazepam or 0.5mg alprazolam) benzo. See what it does for you and hten adjust accordingly.

It also depends if you want a "benzo" night or a "alcohol" night. If you want a mostly benzo then do maybe 10mg diazepam with 2 drinks to start, and so on.

Benzo+opiate is another CNS depressant combo that is one of the most loved highs amongst the "downers" Whenever mixing drugs start out light, you can always add more later.
 
you should be fine, moderate your drinking tho..basically its just gonna double or increase the effects hella because to me...xanax,valium,and k-pins make me feel drunk as fuck. espesially k-pins, the worst i ever did was 10mg of k-pins and drank a lil, i forget. ohhh man i was fucked from just that, first and only time i blacked out...normally i just forget stuff..but i remember the day at least with benzo's. but that time i straight didnt remember anything, not even how much i drank =/ good luck itle be fun
 
First and foremost, always know the strength of benzo you are useing as well as the amount.

Secondly, if you want to do this, take a very low dose of alcohol to start, and build experience.
The goal is uninhibited and sedated, when you get to this point, it is time to stop.

The key is to have the set amounts of both alcohol and benzos already prepared.
If you have ample amounts of both, you will forget you are even intoxicated, and will not stop popping pills until you run out. Blacking out does not mean the end of activity, but an end to your conscious awareness. you conscious is gonna lead you body to go through actions you are no longer able to stop.

Temazepam 60 mg + beers 10= masterbating in a stip club on a stripper, landing in jail. waking up like, WHERE THE FUCK AM I!!!!!!!!!!!! Posting bail and shit.
 
Valium has a significantly longer half life than Xanax. If you plan to drink the day after taking Valium be very careful. Be very careful drinking on ANY benzos. Xanax you should definatly monitor how you feel drinking the next day... Valiums long half life could cause a black out... I would be very careful drinking even the next day... Another one to be careful with the next day is Klonopin.

Yes, black outs are the result of drinking alcohol with benzodiazepines but it also causes CNS depression which then you can stop breathing and OD.

This is a harm reduction site so I'd suggest not mixing CNS depressants but in your situation, if your drinking an entire day later after taking 2mg Xanax and 10mg Valium, I believe you should be fine but still it would be good to watch your drinking. The half life of Valium doesn't increase to the massive amount of time that it has if you begin to take it on a daily basis or if you take too much from time to time. It actually really isn't long when taken once or twice (a small amount of times in rare occasions). The half-life increases the longer you take it. The half-life of Valium is interesting. The Xanax will be out of your system.

I think that taking such a low dose of Valium (5mg) after drinking should be fine.
 
Well what I plan to primarily be taking this particularly night is methylone, with some alcohol to just keep me going through the night.

I just wondered if it was then safe to take a valium or a xanax at the end of the night to bring me down from the uppers and get some sleep. I'd probably be slightly drunk, more than likely sobering up though. Also I wanted some benzos with me to have as a precaution if I start feeling dodgy from the stimulant. (i.e. incase of a panic attack)


Appreciate the helpful feedback by the way, I know it's a basic sort of query but I just want to know the health risks.
 
idk, if you are worried about anxiety attack. then im guesing you have it prescribed to you and you pop them daily, so your tolerance is probably very high, if not at least mild. i have k-pin prescription they got me on 8-10mg a day, i take 3-4mg every morning.i can never really feel it, just a calm feeling. but if im drinking befor i take my nighttime dose depending on when, it kicks in that k-pin just a bit to were i get a lil euphoric, but not enough to really phaze me...ill just end up skipping my nighttime dose or taking half.

id think youd be fine with what your planning
 
Both valium and xanax would be out of your system in 18 hours, even with that amount.

Valium however is much much longer lasting than xanax, remember that. If you take too much valium and drink the next day, you could still blackout.
 
Na I'm not prescribed Valium, I just take it now and then to unwind or to deal with comedowns so my tolerance is quite low.

I'll be taking the stims between 9pm-4am, so I'd ideally like to take 5mg or 10mg of Valium at 4 to bring me down from the uppers and get some sleep. If I had 3-4 cans throughout the course of the night, would it make it dangerous to take the valium?
 
1mg k-pin is equivlant to .5mg xanax, and 10mg valium
1mg xanax is equivilant to 2mg k-pin, and 20mg valium

im like 98% positive about this report, if anyone dissagrees feel free to correct me.
so taking 2mg xanax and 10mg valiumis like taking 50mg valium(wouldnt suggest drinking the next day) but if u take the xanax in combination with the valium instead of just valium, your good to go n drink tomarow.
 
2 mg of Xanax is way more potent than 10 mg of Valium. Keep that in mind...also, since both alcohol and benzos behave in such similar fashion, why would you want to mix? Is it to save money on drinks when you go out or something like that? If so, I think other posters have accurately warned of what might happen. Personally, I'd take the benzos and enjoy them for what they are, and drink alcohol on its own because the feeling are quite different. CNS depressants are a big no no to mix unless you are well versed in your own limits. Start low and go slow...you can't undo an OD but you can certainly prevent one. Be safe.

nicly said fletchacet. benzos are dangerouse enough by themselves...hell take enough and youll feel just as drunk, withought the bad stomich feeling or puking. (at least for k-pins it is)

i cant even explain how addicting these things are...mabey its just me but ever since i got them prescribed...i cant live withought them, if i miss just one dose i start to feel diffrent..more vulnerable to anxiaty attacks...witch scares me blah blah blah...a day or two and ill be crawlin twords the kitchen trying to find something to eat, but when i try i cant..my hands tremble soooo noticably that i cant even bring a tray with soda on it to my table at the pizza place...flue and fever like symptoms....it actualy sounds to me alot like an alchohalic and quiting cold turky?

No, 4 beers will have the mental effect, but not the body load.

Benzos and alcohol is not any more of a PNS fuck than the alcohol he will consume. Benzos increase the CNS mind fuck of alcohol to the greatest extent.

originalpillpopper...yeah, im in the same boat. ive been prescribed benzos for years and to say that theyre 'habit forming' (pharm co. language) is a serious understatement. dont get me wrong, i take them as prescribed and theyre hands down the best anxiety treatment ive personally tried, but i had to laugh when u talked about crawling to the kitchen and the twitches. benzos are not to be taken lightly, but then again, no drug is. if they ever come out with a suboxone like drug that is used for benzo w/d, ill be first in line cause even if i taper for 2 years, the w/d's are so bad and long lasting i cant justify being a complete basket case for months on end so i just cave and start up again. but my case is hardly news...benzo addiction is hardly new. and to OP, if you mix you may very well black out, and what if you end up having the best night of your life but cant remember any of it? that would suck
