I'm prescribed 25mg amitriptyline and .75mg of clonazepam. Why do these meds make me feel high?

Clonazpam is pretty strong, I’d wager it’s that you’re feeling. After a while using it, you won’t feel as high anymore. You’ll have some tolerance to it. It will still be working though.

Are you looking for a chemical answer? Benzos make you feel high because of their effect on gaba neurotransmitters, which sedate your central nervous system.. thats what gives you that carefree feeling.

Try dropping dose of benzo to .5mg or even .25mg for a minute and (possibly other meds amy is scarry to me something wasnt right with it lol)
