Xanax and E ?

One of my friends wants to try E, and i'll be doing it with her. Im really experienced (on and off user for the last 5yrs) I hardly do it anymore but this is an acception. We've got a great location, long weekend and great pills. The thing is, is that she's nervous about it because she's heard a lot of bullshit horror storys about E, all the bad myths like it will make you insane, fry your brain after just one pill...all that good stuff. I've been trying to set her straight on the facts and i've gotten her curious about it and the date is set. She did ask me one question I couldn't answer though, she asked me what would happen if she took a Xanax, sometime during the day beforehand because she gets anxiety once in a while and she thinks the anticipation and fear of the effects her first time would give her anxiety...I told her I didn't know and would make a thread about it.

Anyone know? I told her I would perfer she didn't have any other substances in her when she doses (i'll only be giving her a half) but I would ask anyway.

This is a wierd combo, and pretty much pointless considering it's almost impossible to have anxiety while rolling. I wouldn't do it simply because it's a waste of good xanax and she'll be fine once the e starts working.

don't know if it would be dangerous.

^^ Sorry but you are way off base. Anxiety is pretty common pre, during and post MDMA.

She will be fine taking a low dose benzo before the E. It may "slightly" mute the experience if taken close to the E dose. This is not a dangerous combination.

My advice personally would be have a couple of drinks (2 or 3) prior to the E and keep the benzo for after she comes down.
 
I am prescribed 10mg oxazepam, it does not seem to help much after using a stimulant. Alprazolam or Diazepam helps the most.
 
Tell her to save it for when she's coming down and ready to sleep...Just remember to keep telling her everything will be fine and nothing to worry about. Make sure she drinks plenty of water or gatoraid
 
I doubt she will even need it afterwards, first time users dont really get anxious after its done, theyre full of happiness, but if shes having trouble sleeping then she should take it.

Tell her to have a few drinks (if she drinks) before to releive her nervousness. It's very common to be nervous before trying any new drug, just be in a nice relaxing environment where she wont feel bothered and keep reassuring her everything will be fine and youre there to handle any problems.

Even offer to not take your pills until she feels comfortable.

She's about to expereince one of the best nights of her life, make sure she has a good one.

why even risk forgetting this magical awakening?
last time i rolled i took some xanax before hand (2.5mg) and well, i barely remember what i did that night
not a total loss, but still, not the same
although i think its nearly impossible to forget your first time (this last time was like my 23rd experience), i wouldn't take any xanax the first time
anyway, i agree with whoever said to have a few drinks beforehand (IF she drinks), but not during,for obvious reasons
alcohol definetely relives any anxiety i experience before/during come-up
and after that, well, u know the deal
 
If she is having anxiety before she rolls, then don't let her swollow the MDMA... if she gets anxiety during the roll, then it fine to take the xanax, though it will mute/alter the experience (though some people really enjoy that feeling). It's not a dangerous combination, but I wouldn't predose with xanax just because of the alteration in the feeling.
 
I think the nervous excitement is part of the whole experience.

Make her deal with it, and save the xanax for 6 hours later - when you want to go to sleep.

I agree with the above - you gotta dive in there head first (1 pill).
 
i agree with everyone who said that half is a waste. i took half my first time and i hardly felt anything. so the next time i took 3. :){teletubbies} believe me, i "got it" that time. but dont follow my lead. i tend to overdo things.

however, if anxiety is a problem, by all means take 1mg. of xanax. when i was rolling heavily (about 2x a week), i would ALWAYS puke during come-up. its like the rush/excitement was too much or something. granted, i never really felt ANXIOUS before or after vomiting, just felt like i had to puke. XANAX put a stop to the pukings. just my cwo tents.

on a side note, leaning over the toilet when you're already google-eyed from rolling and your eyes are watering from puking is trippy.

Don't forget she's a girl, girls are usually lighter and smaller than boys.
I've seen a girl space out on one pill in a park, cops passed by, found a pill on her, she was maybe 14-15 years old.
Depending on her size, age and grown up-ness(puberty?), I'd start with .5 or 1 and when she's feeling the effects from that, or not, another .5 if needed.
 
xanex for comedown

Yes, I did a search and I know this has been talked about alot before. However, nowadays it seems almost impossible to get mdma without it having meth or some speed. The speed always makes the comedown so unbearable that it seems to outlast the original roll. I was planning on eating a bar or 2 next time whenever the comedown hits, however I dont want to loose any memory of the experience. Ive heard that a good 2-4mg of xanex will help the comedown and help give some u some sleep. Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry in advance if this has been discussed way 2 much.
 
3mg xanax, 15-20mg valium, dunno bout klonopin, but i tell you what.. benzos are the shit when comin off x. pop it like half an hour before youre ready to go to bed

you may feel kinda bad, but you wont give a shit
and youll drift off to sleep
 
Dont take too much Xanax. I underestimated the power and didnt wake up for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg time.
