Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium, etc.) and Ecstasy (mega-merged)

I would say, it changes the 'quality' of the MDMA-induced experience. Generally, it would reduce euphoria (if you still get it), but it could increase the general sense of relaxed joy (so long as you enjoy benzos). Speedy effects would be greatly reduced.

Personally, I don't think mixing them is warranted.
 
If you prefer your MDMA experiences to be more sedate affairs, sitting/lying around with friends at home then I imagine it could help increase that side of the high, so you aren't overly pepped up. If you prefer to be an "up and about" person (thats my preference) then no, I imagine it wouldn't help much.

It'll help reduce anxiety a bit if you get antsy during the come up. Personally I'd save it for the comedown when you want to veg out on the sofa infront of the TV and waste the Sunday drifting in and out of sleep :)
 
yeah i really don't think it is worth it to mix mdma and anti-anxiety meds while peaking, the 2 times i did it i felt it detracted from my roll. on the comedown though it is really nice, helps to put you to sleep.
 
another benzo question

Planning on rolling this weekend after a long break, still I have anxiety which i take a total of 2MG xanax throughout the day, I was wondering if it would be a bad move to take my normal dosage during the day i take about .5 throughout the day 4 times, so thats 2MG. My question is, I would be rolling at night after 9 and by that time I will have had 2mg xanax in me, would it be safe, bad, override the roll, also would it be safe to take some during the come up or through the roll in case i get a panic attack? Anybody here who suffers from a anxiety disorder that rolls? I know i used to always get anxious during the comeup but this was before I have had anxiety and I still have not reallly "rolled" since I started having anxiety
 
xanax is used to calm down lots of psychedelic trips. i would stop using it a day or two before just to be SURE that it wouldn't affect my roll. however, xanax after a roll = priceless. makes the comedown nice and smooth, along with a few blunts and a couple of beers.
 
Why not take it if you get a panic attack, rather than in case you get one.

Hands up who doesn't get anxious during the come up?
If you don't you probably roll far too much!

Agree you should lay off the xanax thru the day if you can.
 
I suffer from anxiety and take my prescribed dosage of xanax whilst rolling. Doesn't effect the intensity of the roll at all (Unless you take a lot) and basically makes it for a anxiety-free roll.
 
whats your normal dosage? Do you ever get panicky while rolling and decide to take a half a xanax to keep you calm? I know my heart rate has gone considerably fast during a panic attack Im just scared what it would be if it happened while on a roll

If you're tolerant to that amount it shouldn't affect your ecstasy trip - maybe consider going .5mg less if you feel comfortable.

What I'd be more concerned about would be the after-effects making your anxiety worse. But I don't know anything about your situation, just food for thought.

MDMA and Benzo's

After a few times of this happening to me and some friends I decided to post. These past few weeks I've noticed whenever I take any type of benzo, whether it be xanax or valium that day I roll, I won't really feel any of the MDMA effects.

I've had these pills many of times (strawberries) and not consumed any type of benzo and peaked at least 3 hours on other occasions. My girl who can peak for hours on end of small amounts of mdma even noticed that benzo's totally kill your peak. You still enjoy music, but the jaw clenching, eye wiggles, tingles, and much more are dulled out. So for any of you out there who happen to take any type of benzo's one day and decide they want to roll that night, I'd reconsider. Even double dosing was a waste when trying. So after much money wasted and excellent tabs eaten, it was all wasted due to mainly the xanax or valium eaten beforehand. Gotta be one of the worst buzz kills ever. Yet, I'll still enjoy my benzo's, just not the days I'm going to roll on.

Oh, and xanax is very nice when coming down off a pill. You sleep like a baby and wake up feeling nice.

Yeah dude save the Benzo's for after the pill. I used to smoke weed when I was coming up off a pill, it seemed to bring it on harder. But if I kept smoking at the height of it, it would bring the peak down. Needless to say, if it was going a bit too hard, I'd smoke a bit to calm it down. I also found that taking K afterwards for some reason prolonged it?

I hear that Benzo's also help your body make a more speedy recovery from E. I sure wish in my E-loving days I had them I'm only just discovering the powers of them now :) :)
 
I hate going up too high... it's just a tease now when I know that I feel like ass anyways. Xanax goes great w/ rolls or on the comedown for me.
 
^^^^^Depends on the dosage, but i only use xanax on the comedown from stimulants to sleep. If you want to stay awake and use benzo's for fun on the comedown, i would use valium vs xanax IMHO.
 
What TwoMinds said. Save it for the comedown, chill out, smoke a J, and get some easy sleep.
 
You may like it, you may not. it's pretty safe (it's you're responsible) and the worse that happens is your roll isn't as good as others. In that case you've learned not to do it again, and if you like it then that's great.
 
xannax on e is a very very badd idea........unless u cant sleep after you roll...you kno that half asleep tossing and turning in your bed nodding out then waking up....basically cat napping threw-out the night....xannax will stop that...take a small dossage of xannax.....no need for a full bar(2mgs) just something small like .5-1.0 heh maybe even .25 depending your personal reaction to xannax and you will be asleep

Funny enough sometimes I do and a 2mg [placebo?] Diazepam can [does] push me in the right direction ... a few beers works just as well.

As an aid for MDMA consumption I'm all for it however as a drug cocktail ... you must have more money than sense :p
