Benzodiazepine Discussion *Q & A* On the half-life of Lorazepam.

Last night around 11pm I found myself setting into opiate wd's. I have my monthly appointment with my doctor for my suboxone tomorrow (the first of july @ 530pm.) I had no prior benzo's in my system and would have peed clean. I took 2mgs orally of Lorazepam (xanax, rx773) at about 1130pm. Please let me know your opinions and any factual information on Lorazepam half-life. I know I was going to be taking a risk by ingesting it but I thought I could scrape by as my body is very high metabolism and I usually pass test's easily because of that; well not 'easily' but I can cut it closer than most people can: hoping that wasn't too close! Thoughts, facts, opinions please ! Thanks guys~! 8(

Benzos can take up to 21 days to clear out of your system, even short-acting ones tend to be 3-4 days from what I've read on various forums in the past. You should look around how to avoid failing the test, but it is against Bluelight's guidelines for me to tell you how to do that precisely. Drug testing questions are not permitted.
 
You're going to half to dilute or swap :/ maybe give a sub to a buddy who's otherwise clean? Idk I wouldn't have done that.
 
why would my thread close? I was not asking about anything other than personal opinions and stories based on first hand experience.
 
Factually the half-life or Lorazepam is 9-16 hours. My body processes all drugs very quickly so I am confident that I'm much nearer to 9 hours for a half life. We'll call it 10 hours for a half life. that means after 40 hours and 2 mgs ingested total, there should technically be nearly 0.00mgs. Is that the correct way to think about it?
