sonic said:I say this in every thread, but the effects of benzodiazepines are very subjective. I could give you a list of what benzos I like and why, but it probably wouldn't be the same for you. The only way to figure out which benzos give you the most desirable effects is to try them. Personally I prefer diazepam and clonazepam the most for a daytime benzo, and I like nitrazepam and temazepam as a sleep aid.
Word. Couldn't have said it better myself.
I think I can give the OP some help, I've not only tried all you've listed and more, but actually have some of them all (yes, all of them) sitting in a drawer in my bedroom... I guess I'm a just a junkie loser benzohead

All the benzos you've listed are whorthwhile for different purposes (except for the last two, they are garbage

Duration is the easiet part of this matter. Enjoyment value is so highly subjective, it varies widely from person to person. You really won't know what you'll like the best until you've tried a reasonable amount of the different drugs in each of the different classes. Among the primary anti-anxiolytics, the highs (for me) aren't of very significant difference. But there will usually be that -one- you will like above the others, which will most probably be not the same as someone else.
Now to hypnotic benzos... my favorites :D. The same preference rules apply here too, really. Just gotta try and find which one gets your rocks off the most. They can all pretty much send you into a pleasurable nodding la-la-la land, and the high is in a totally different realm compared to the anti-anxiolytics. People often compare them to barbiturates, I think that's a message in itself. If you can get your hands flunitrazepam, you already have one of the best hypnotic benzodiazepines out there.
As for me, these are my favorite benzos, cocktails that I take daily, differing depending upon the situation:
- IV Diazepam + IV Lorazepam --morning (used in conjunction with Amphetamines)
- IV Midazolam + IV Lorazepam + IV Diazepam + Alprazolam + Temazepam --evening/night relax (my favorite! the only pure benzo combo that I greatly enjoy without other drugs)
- ...and a few more I'm too lazy to list, but I mainly use benzos with other drugs (i.e. booze, smack, and weed)
Pick up the Flunitrazepam and Diazepam for sure. If you like the spike (e.g. yours truly), Midazolam is a must, if not take Alprazolam. From first experiencing those three, you can then judge what you'd probably perfer. From there on it's a toss up to see what suits your taste
