benzo withdrawl

Hi there i am posting 4 the first time so go easy on me !
I would like to know if anyone out there could give me advice on how long it would take 2 safely withdrawl from 20mg diazepam daily plus 22.5 mg of nitrazepam daily .
I have been using tranx for about 14 years and would really like to stop. I recently contacted a local treatment centre and they said that i would be able 2 withdrawl in 8 weeks i am also on 40mg of methadone daily ' i am somewhat dubious that i could withdrawl this quickly. I would appreciate any feedback regarding benzo withdrawl thanx.

there are plans online that explain how to lower your dosages for benzos if sumone can like to them that would help the OP or a simple google search should give you some help. i am on 60mg methadone daily and i withdrew myself off a 50 - 100mg a day benzo habbit in 20 weeks slowlay reducing the dose. still on the meth tho i used DHC after completly removing the benzos for a few days to help sleep. weed helps too.

if you can take less without taking more, i'd suggest going slower

I am sure someone here can help you with a safe taper plan to avoid problems... I would think to not taper too quickly. It might take time but be patient.. you can do it. Good luck!

I wish you luck bro, benzo withdrawal can be dangerous so whatever you do PLEASE go slowly and follow medical guidelines with medical supervision if at all possible!
