so i was taking benzos for stress and recreational purposes, I started on October 14 taking either 2mg klonopin daily or 2mg ativan. Then I stopped on November 5.

On november 9 I then got my hands on 70mg of xanax which I finished by November 17. Taking different amount every day.

I am now experiencing bad anxiety, I even had a nightmare last night.

How should I go about this? I have no more access to any benzos as i was not getting them from a doc.

thanks

You're gonna have to tough it out bro, many of us here have done it and while it is hell, it is a learning experience and the other "half" of the balance of drug use (You Use and get happy, you stop and are in hell). Its something that must happen as you pay for your time using it. Marijuana will help, if you are into that. also antihistamine sleep aids.

do you think i will die? i have taken up to 5mg ativan on one of those days. and on some days 3mg klonopin

Definitely don't think you will die my man, people have made it through much much more than that.

The people who posted before me are right. You're just gonna have to ride it out. It may just be in your head, I was taking benzos every day for months and when I finally stopped I convinced myself I was gonna go through some serious withdrawl but it was a lot easier than I first thought. I just got really depressed. You'll be okay, try and keep active and make sure you've got plenty to do, take your mind off it.
