benzo+weed?

what is the best benzos to ingest before smoking weed?
 
i've only tried smoking with valium for the first time last week. pretty damn amazing. all the weed high only with more of a 'not givin a fuck' rather than 'excessive analyzation' factor....more body high and just feeling loaded and chiillll instead of trippy thoughts and excessive thinking.

but i'd imagine xanax to be more..."fun" depending on how much you dose and you handle yourself. mainly due to it being more 'hard-hitting'.
 
due to my high benzo tolerance ive gone fore 60 mg temazepam eggs,4mg xanax,4mg lorazepam...im toying with 10-20mg valium...
 
either klonopin or temazepam.
if you have an indica dominant strain of weed then maybe go with klonopin, as the temazepam might put you to sleep in combo with the indica.

The temazepam may add a bit more of a body load/high to the mix depending on how much of it you take. In lower doses ~30mg I find it to me pretty comparable to klonopin, but in higher doses there's definitely more fo a body buzz, so this can be good or bad in combinations with the right kind of weed.

so just definitely check your dosages of whatever benzo you are taking if you aren't planning on falling asleep

In general I find they add together nicely for anti-anxiety. you get the immediate "weight off your shoulders" feeling from the pot, then the lasting buzz from the benzo's. Never tried it with a very stativa like strain of bud though.
 
Even though opiates come first for me.... Benzos and weed are a great combo..... I like it better than opiates and weed. I think Kpins and Xanax are the best Benzos to mix with the ganja
 
I've tried Clonazepam, Alprazolam, Phenazepam, Etizolam, Diazepam, and Lorazepam (on that at the moment, and about to light up a bowl, actually!)

It seems that everyone has different preferences.

I found Clonazepam and Phenazepam to be of little interest recreationally with weed (though a bit of either + alcohol helped potentiate the effects of the alcohol without potentiating the hangover, but that's playing with fire, and it's not fun enough to persue further. ).

Xanax is fun, particularly mixed with weed. Etizolam and diazepam are my favorites though, and i usually go with diazepam. It's so relaxing and comfortable. and you feel chilled out the next day too, but more gently.

Lorazepam + weed seems different some how. both more euphoric, and more creative. I very rarely draw on any drug, but on lorazepam and weed (have never done it without weed) i often draw things. Not very competently, but i end up with drawings. I find lorazepam generally more fun as well. while most people seem to prefer other benzos to it.

Everyone's got different preferences.
 
Clonazepam and weed chills me out hard, sedates me pretty hard too.

Xanax and weed is fun..nothing special for me.

Ativan and weed floors me.

Phenazepam and weed is oddly enjoyable for me...but I almost always smoke weed with tobacco.
 
Xanax and weed gives a nice sedating euphoric high with no sight of anxiety in mind. I guess many benzos do that, but i enjoy opiate weed combo better for a better feeling high as the weed really potentiates the opiate. Benzo and weed combo is for when i'm in a big social setting where i don't know a lot of the people. I hate being super stoned in front of a lot of new faces, unless i have an opiate in me or benzo.
 
So I guess the general consensus is:
most benzo + weed combinations will be very relaxing, mild to strongly sedating, anxiety free (this is where a lot of the 'euphoria' stems from), etc.
so, I wouldn't plan a big night out on the combination, but its really wonderful for just chilling, listening to music, etc.
 
Anyone else notice when on xanax then you smoke some bud (even nice headies) seems to alter the ganja high? Its like the xanax cancels out that "psychedelic" sort of feel from the marijuana. Its like whenever your on xanax (or any benzo, but especially xanax) and smoke some bud it seems you just feel the relaxing and sedating effect of the bud but its different when a benzo like xanax (alprazolam) is in your system. Its almost like xanax cancels out the marijuana high except for the sedating/relaxing effects, but the deep psychedelic and philosophical and analytically thinking are totally diminished by the xanax (benzo).. I am just wondering if anyone else has notice this sorta effect when smoking ganja while on a dose of xanax/benzo?
