Benzo WD help (how to avoid)

I admit it, I fucked up.. I had 45 (partial fill) diazepam which I'm suppose to use to taper. Well, after 2 days, I have 8 left!
I have gabapentin (Lyrica still pendin, grr). Will that keep that horrible benzo WD away??

I'm under the impression gabapentin may alleviate some of the symptoms of benzo withdrawal - no 1st hand experience though.

I would suggest heading back to the doc and telling him you've had a set back and discuss the possibility of someone holding your script and dishing your tablets out for you so you would be unable to repeat this mistake - my mother holds mine for me.
Or going into a drug treatment centre whilst you get off the benzo's, obv the staff would hold and distribute your allowance as you taper and would be there in case of emergency.

However, I know you're in the US and you've said it's a little pre-historic treatment wise there and I know you guys don't have NHS hospitals and centres so don't know if you could do the cost of drug treatment centre. If these aren't viable options for you go with the gabapentin and cross your fingers. Keeping mine crossed for you love.

MM, I'm goin to go ahead and talk to my dr, admit I screwed up & see what he can/will do.
Only person close enough to hold my script is my bf.. However, he got locked up today.. If it isn't one thing..
