Benzos Benzo WD and electric shock syndrome - HELP!

I have a small question. This is what I did to myself:

3 months on 1,5-2 mg xanax every day and with a lot of opiates. Stop cold turkey and after 6 days I had so bad cramps and twitches that I had to go on diazepam again. This is how 7 days on diazepam have looked like:

Day 1: 60 mg (couldn't sleep and had severe WD's, but the dose made me sleep for 12 hours which I really needed)
Day 2: 15 mg
Day 3: 10 mg
Day 4: 5 mg
Day 5: 2,5 mg
Day 6: 1,25
Day 7: 0.625 mg

I don't really have any WD symptoms at all. I have a little more anxiety and minor twitches. I sleep a good 8 hours every night and I have a lot of energy which makes me do cardio exercises. Why don't I feel like shit? Is it because the 60 mg I took on day 1 still is present in my body? I eat very healthy and drink plenty of fluids too.

I am considering stoping taking the diazepam caus' I feel great. I know it has a very long half life but my liver is fine and I am only 23 years old.

Well not all of it is but up to a quarter or so of the first big dose still could be, along with some of the rest you have taken. I'd recommend holding at 0.625 for a while now and seeing how that feels. It's tempting to jump off again because you feel fine but if that causes you to take another huge dose in a few days it would be counter productive.

I'd say try and set a taper plan with a goal in mind. Maybe aim to be off on May 1 and then lower your dose each Sunday until you reach zero.

Day 8: 0.5 mg diazepam
Day 9: 0 mg (slept fine)
Day 10: 0 mg (Only slept 3 hours)
Day 11: 0 mg (Plenty of sleep with alot of dreaming)

I really hope I won't get hit in the face in the next days. My anxiety has decreased the last 2 days and I barely get any twitches.

Crossing my fingers! The only thing I am scared of at the moment is that WD's will come full force all of a sudden.

i didn't read the posts, just the op. IME the shocks and some other symptoms of benzo WD last a few days even after you get back on the benzos. these are very long term processes in the brain we're playing with.

^Agree with this 100%. The symptom I get worst is spasms, and they don't go away simply from dosing the benzo I am quitting. I can get calmed by the benzo's effects and tremor like a madman from benzo withdrawal at the same time...
