For the last year I have been taking 4 to 5 mgs of klonopin i was prescribed but i built up a tolerance for my anxeity,then i was i prescribed valium which didnt work i was taking 2 to 3 10 mgs for 4 weeks then was swithced to xanax today 2 mgs, with my tolerance how much xanax would i need to get buzzed i just took 4mgs and felt happy for 5 minutes how much should i rake im a really big guy so i can hold a lot of substance.

I am going to do my best to bite my tongue, but I am sure you know the dangers of a heavy benzo habit.
I don't think it is a good idea to mix all these benzos, are you saying you are taking just the Xanax?
Xanax and Klonopin are equivalent according to http://www.benzo.org.uk/bzequiv.htm. The issue would be the half life. Drugs that have shorter half lives do tend to hit quicker and stronger.
10mg of Valium is = to 0.5 of Xanax. SO with some math here 20mg of Valium is equal to 10mg of Xanax.
Someone check my math. I can't see too many docs wanting to give you that much. I can't see why you were switched like this to begin with. But maybe you can take a day off here and there to get your tolerance down.
 
10mg of xanax is not = to 20 mg of val. 20 val is like 1-2mg tops he made a mistake

yes im taking xanax i just stopped taking klonopin last night i took 2 mgs
 
Ok, well that is good. I think you will need quite a bit to get that feeling you are looking for. Any way to take a drug holiday?What is your prescribed dose of Xanax?

2mgs twice a day im so fucked with anxeity i need a little high just to take a load off
 
You've been taking klons for quite a while and the w/d isn't even near touching you yet but I'm sure you are physically addicted considering 4 months of benzo use is considered long term. Klons aren't like xanax, they don't leave you that fast. They stay in your system over a day, so basically, even though you're a big dude you've been building this stuff up in your system for a year. That could be the reason you're so tolerant . You basically have had benzo coursing through your body for a year and on top of that youve been recently throwing other benzos in the mix?. Not to scare you but you know damn well you can't stop this cold turkey , right? Mega dangerous.

the thing is i have other problems serious conditions i will be treated with benzos for the rest of my life probably my doc already warned me about the long term effects im fucked i know this buti i dont get the jones for my benzos but i am anxious to pop another xanax i have taken up to 6mgs so far and still feel shitty i have energy thought maybe i should quit while im ahead before i catch a heart attack i do have a hankering for some beer though
 
ok cool I just wanted to make sure you knew...because when the doc threw klons at me, I was pretty benzo naive
 
if you look around charts, some will say xanax is as pontent as clonazepam, and some will say xanax is two times more potent

in my experience, xanax is just a bit more potent than clonazepam, may be something like 2.5-3mgs of clonazepam = 2mgs of xanax

oh and of course clonazepam lasts like 10hs and xanax idk may be 2-3hs
