Benzo tolerance

Hi I took a break from every GABA-drug about 3 months ago(Xanax, Ambien(Zopiclone)) I had been taking at most 1mg of Xanax and up to 30mg ambien. Ive been a "periodic" for about 2 years, I took for maximum a month(usually 2-3 weeks) then stopped cold turkey for 2-4 weeks. Last fall I had a break for 7 weeks, after that Xanax 1mg worked fine, but didnt feel much from the Ambien so thats why I decided to try 4 months this time. Almost 13 weeks now, 13 painfull weeks. The easiest part is the first 2 weeks with the withdrawal(physical) after that I felt pretty good for a week(I always think the withdrawals over by then) and then the mental part comes with paranoia and anxiety. I still have that after 13 weeks, but thats because I have OCD and aspergers, I had the exact same problems before I even tried Benzos. Hell Ive been having anxiety and depression for 11 years. The thing is Im planning to use benzo normally after this break, only when the anxiety gets too strong and excersising doesnt help. Today is one of those days, but for months is for months, im gonna take a walk after this in the dark lol

To the point, do you think my tolerance has lowered after 4 months? Before the break I started to think what could have caused the pills to not work anymore if it wasnt for tolerance(most likely) and I drank Coca cola with aspartam daily for 2 weeks and searched Aspartam GABA on google and read that Aspartam lowers the seratonine in the brain and this lowers the activity of GABA, got panic and thought Ill never get effect from my medicines again. Anyone know anything about this, you guys drink aspartam and does the benzo work?

And yeah I know, I have been strong for a long time why start again but the thing is im not going to abuse them now, I said to myself before the break that Ill rather kill myself than starting again. Ive also lost weight as I got fat(possible reason why I need more pills to get effect?).

Thank you on forehand :D

Edit: I should also say that since December 2014-Probably April-March I took some opiates/opiodes(Codeine) but not as regularly as benzos(never got hooked or anything) but I noticed the effect of them also lowered. I started with them because I was told from a friend that they help so much against Benzo Withdrawal, and yeah they did. And no, I never mixed them.

yeah benzo tolerance does tend to reset itself pretty fast unlike an opiate tolerance for example which i hear never resets itself
actually common for someone to think they could handle the same amount of benzos after taking a long break to find out that wasnt the case
i always advise that people do take a few weeks to a month break itll lower the chances of dependency and it'll eliminate tolerance errr well lower it at the very least
