So in late dec I went into ativan withdrawal. Dr wouldn't give me a taper so went to detox. They detoxed me with phenobarbital for 11 days - hell! After I got out more hell for another week but did start feeling better at about 18 days benzo free). On day 19 had a major panick attack Went to er where they gave me a 3 day taper of librium - 100mg first day 75 second and 50 yesterday. Felt very good even today when left with no benzos today at all. They gave me 5 25mg pills to taper further (ie 1 per day if needed) but er dr said the 3 day taper they gave me won't put me back into full withdrawal.

Well starting to feel funky. Do I take a librium per day for next 5 days or just be done with it and keep healing? Thank you.
 
I'd say leave it well alone and keep healing. You're past the stage at which a seizure could occur. If you redose now you could end up in a worser way, it will also delay your tapering and coming off benzos which you want to do ASAP.
 
If your feeling bad I would take one of the libriums every other day. They are very week benzo's with a long half life.
 
Thanks rsmith. I need to go with your advice. I don't think I'll siezure but dr was wrong. I feel just as bad as last time. I don't want to siezure so am going to take them for 5 or more days as you suggest. Tx.
