yes, cheers to K'd out as well. :)

benzos(esp. after TEN YEARS) i imagine would be living hell to withdrawl from or taper off. he did something i highly doubt would go over well if i tried, as i LOVE my benzos.

i was pretty sure flunitrazepam was the longest acting benzo on that list...

which would you say is better for acute anxiety/panic attacks?:

alprazolam(Xanax), diazepam(Valium), or clonazepam(Klonopin)

even though i think alprazolam is overrated, i think it may be best for acute anxiety/panic attacks. however clonazepam imo is a stronger anxiety killer, but lacks the rapid onset. it does last way longer though. i also think diazepam is good as it lasts long and has a quick onset, but is generally "weaker".

what do you think?

if theres a better benzo for acute attacks than what i mentioned, please list it.

Put the clonazepam pill under your tongue, it will kick in much faster (but the duration of action will be less than if swallowed).

i'll try that, thanks. :)

but is it better than popping a bar? i'd think so because clonazepam is a powerful anxiety killer, it lasts longer, and i like it more but xanax is usually the "go to" benzo for acute attacks.

The part that was the hardest was first tapering down the Clonazepam to 1mg but once I got there, I switched to 20mg Diazepam and tapered 5mg every month until I got to 2mg. So that part was pretty much painless. I was surprised. If anyone, including you, is planning on tapering I'd very much recommend Diazepam.

I also tapered using Diazepam 10 mg to get off a 3mg Clonazepam for a gad/pd "disorder" Anyways, I...switched to Diazepam 30mg/day and am currently looking for a new headshrinker that's not in big pharma's pocket and constantly pushing Clons/Seroquel in my face. it's just So f***ing frustrating. Congrats on getting off benzos, you should be VERY proud as it takes ALOT of willpower to do. I also train in Aikido and find it to be very beneficial, highly recommended...Peace and good luck to fellow anx sufferers.

I need ASAP help. How much xanax and clonazepam mixed would make the best high or make you feel "barred" out??

^You do not need ASAP help. I answered you in the thread you created. Please do not cross-post the same question in multiple threads; your topic will be gotten to soon enough, with a bit of patience.

I take klonopin daily for anxiety, but I've never really "liked" it on it's own. It keeps me sane. I was on lorazepam for a short period of time and it just made me tired. Xanax made me bit euphoric and VERY stupid. Those are the only ones I've tried.

From least favored to most favored (not in any particular category though) I would say they are: Ativan, Xanax, Klonopin, Valium

I love valium for its muscle relaxant properties and its quick onset and long half-life. Klonopin is good too, but it takes too long to come on to feel anything. The former two short acting benzos are what I'll take if offered but never will go out of my way to get them prescribed if I needed them. I feel Valium has the best "euphoria" if you even want to call it that. Klonopin and Xanax handles anxiety very well, and the only case I'll take ativan is if I'm going to have a few beers to potentiate them. IMO lorazepam (ativan) is useless. I have a very high benzo tolerance so its better having ones like alprazolam, clonazepam, or diazepam that can be potentiated with either tagamet or WGFJ. (White Grapefruit Juice).

By the way, I don't get how some people feel "euphoric" from benzos! Lucky bastards! The only reason I do benzos is primarily for my severe anxiety disorder, but they're also great for combos (i.e. alprazolam and oxycodone, clonazepam and morphine, etc.).
