benzo dosage

i have in my possesion some 5mg diazepam pills and 10mg oxazepam pills.
what are good dosages for either one (or both)if i want to feel a decent buzz?
Also i was wondering about ambien. What are the effects and how much (mg) should i take? Or is this not a good recreational drug?
Any information would be helpfull.

Diazepem try 20mg for a first time - I did with no benzo tolerance and the high was good, but it didn't overwhelm me.
Never take benzos if you have anything responsible to do, you will make a fool of yourself and forget what happened < That is of course unless you are familiar with them, in which case it is very easy to maintain normal activity.

Guy, please read the faq at the top of the first page for the Other Drugs Forum first. Second, search the OD archive for benzos. Dosages, affects, just about any question you could possibly have is already answered in the archive.

I'd go with 30mg Valium (diazepam) for the first time. I don't like these as much as the shorter-lasting benzo's like Xanax, but Valium can be awfully fun.

it depends on your body weight, environment, how much food you've eaten, psychological disposition, and a host of other things, but i've seen 20 mg of diazepam turn a benzo virgin into a blathering bed-wetter. start small. live large.

What kind of high do these give you guy's . All I get from them is relaxed, then tired then forget what happened... thats about it for me. I only did 15mg of diazepam though. I also tried a 30mg oxazepam with about the same effect... I can't say I get high from them though.... so how do you describe the high... thanks

u dont really get a "high" from BENZo's....i have taken them many times and mostly just to sleep better or to relax...
all BENZos give one is a more relaxed feeling...it really doesnt put me in much of a better mood either...in fact some times i get so damned drowsy off the shit that it puts me in a bad mood....
if yer gonna go with BENZos, go with KLONOPIN...XANAX-ya cant remember shit the day after.. VALIUM-the drowsy/groggy "hangover" the next day blows...

valium aint worth a shit in my opinion...my benzo's of choice are rophypnol(roofies) and klonopin but i settle for xanax if i cant get the good shit...if you want to get a really good downer try halicon.

yeah id rather have XANAX than VALIUM, but im stuck with a shitload of Romanian V's so i might as well take them...plus, they are excellent when coming off OPIATES or when wired from stimulants...
the long half life of VALIUM is what really knocks it down the ladder in my eyes...the day after of taking VALIUM you will feel like you havent slept in a week.....groggy, zombie like feeling...it really blows....
