Benzo dosage

Recreationally, what would be better -
If one wants to take a dose of 20mg dizazepam for e.g
Should they take 10mg first then the next 10mg a couple hours later?

Responses very welcome - not sure how to get the best out of this drug category

basic dosing questions belong in BDD.

edit: oh, and I would take 20mg SL / orally as directed for best results.

Depends what you want it for. Both doses are safe but for the sake of saving money and more importantly, avoiding tolerance/addiction there is no harm in taking 10mg then waiting 20-30mins to see how you feel. If 10mg does the trick for you why take 20mg at once?

For what reason are you taking the diazepam? Anxiety? Fun?

Avoid rec. use of benzos. And if you going to use recreantionally anyways, first do some research on the addictivness and withdrawal then make your decision. It only takes 5 minutes and could change your whole future.
