This is also called Dormicum right?

Yep, thats the Roche brand, they also go by the name Flormidal/Versed. It really is annoying when you wake up the next day and hear second hand info about the completly stupid/out of character shit you've said or done.

I just use them for sleep now :|

just snorted 7.5 and necked 7.5 midaz plus 20mg diaz to test em out. feeling pretty relaxed atm! The midaz are roche but don't have the blue coating, still alot to snort after crushing it up. Atleast it doesnt sting!

The old classic and housewive's favorite, diazepam. Just picked up 20 x 10mg for 2 quid. It's funny because it clearly says in French on the packet "by prescription only" but in French. Who needs a prescription when you have some worthless paper money with more zeros than the zero shop eh?

Good old Diaz. So much fun to be had in Asia :)

I find benzos make me relaxed and happy in high doses, and at lower doses are fantastic for the booze heebie geebies, which I only get with a litre of spirits (except Gin for some reason, which doesn't seem to bother me after I've been on it for a couple of weeks or so).

I took diazepam in fairly high doses for a year for anxiety, and the withdrawal was horrendous - very bad anxiety, and embarassing facial twitches when I had to talk to anyone - that lasted for well into 10 weeks, and was only quelled by drinking.

I didn't get much off it when taking it just for anxiety, other than a calming effect. Useful when it lasted, but paid for in withdrawal in a roughly equivalent ratio to its beneficial effects when used long term. So I switched to beta blockers which worked much better for A.

Temazepam and xanax were useful for both sleeping, anxiety and peeve horrors.

I have been experimenting with Midazolam lately and find that at high doses I get memory loss. The buzz I can remember though is fantastic. At lower doses too it is very nice. I think my favourite benzo is still Midaz.

Codeine with Diaz though is a nice combo.

I find that Xanax is great for sleep.

I also have a few Loraz here too that I am yet to try. I think the pills are 2.5mg which, I believe a lot for this benzo?

Does anyone else get stimulated by benzos? They still work for sleep but they tend to get me on one.

(In general terms before anyone gets pedantic)

For (as close to) recreational purposes (I insist that these aren't really recreational) I would pop either a valium or a xanax. Probably prefer valium to xanax. This COULD only be because I have a regular script for 1mg klonopin and can easily get scripted/switch to ativan. Therefore, those have no 'I feel naughty' value to taking them (haha). Clonazepam IS however very much preferred to lorazepam in terms of euphoria.

Top 3 that I've used: valium, klonopin, xanax.

I haven't had the privilege of trying many of them, but in my experiences with Alprazolam, Lorazepam, Clonazepam, and Diazepam, I would have to say I prefer Clonazepam. Lasts a long time too :)

^Amen, clonazepam was much more effective at lower doses in the breif week or 2 i was taking it after runing out of diaz. Delicious buzz aswel

So midzolam is it as good as temazepam? And does it help with sleep? ive tried ambien and zopiclone both shite you had to take more and more to get sleep :X

Temazepam is along the lines of midazolam for me, but I like temazepam more because it lasts longer. Both are good though.

Here's how I would rank benzos (at the top my favorite, the very last one gives me paradoxical reactions.) - also lorazepam I only take if I need to avoid any sedation, IE I have to drive, or stay awake in class.

Temazepam
Midazolam
Flurazepam
Triazolam
Diazepam
Lorazepam
Clonazepam

Temazepam is the best all around for anything/everything for me (it doesn't interrupt REM sleep at all). Midazolam is great for sleep anxiety and recreation, but builds a quick tolerance. Flurazepam lasts sooo long, but has such a great after glow on the 2nd day. Triazolam lasts very very short, so it doesn't interrupt REM sleep as much as most other benzos.

Those are my favorites.

Diazepam is good if I am anxious, or need to chill out, or am coming down.
Lorazepam is good for avoiding daytime sedation, for staying awake and sitting still in class. Also a good way to avoid panic, but it barely takes the edge off.
Clonazepam = fail to me. I get paradoxical reactions and it's unpleasant.

The old jelly temazepams were the best, been banned/discontinued years now like, but they used to be loads of fun. =D

you can still get foreign jellies like from what i have seen

Thanks Captain.Heroin for so much info. I didn't really like the sound of Midazolam, sounded like a bit of a drooler to me. Also sounds like DHC or codeine would be more recreational and cheaper than any benzo really. I may well have a shot at that.

Not really planning getting heavily into either like. Was just going to buy 10 Xanax but it sounds like it has the same/worse memory loss than Valium.

Do you think DHC or codeine would be more recreational? Or is better suited to that thread I posted in OD?

Cheers

DHC is better than codeine IMO.

Infact, I find it comparable to ecstasy (minus the jaw swinging). :)

^Indeed

Tried temazepam recently and found it a bit disappointing, much prefered diaz

Was more impressed with etizolam which i had this weekend, very amnesic though and i think i still prefer vallies or clonazepam :D
