For me it's a bit like the difference between GHB and GBL. GBL kicks in quicker (like xanax) so feels more like a 'real drug' even though in a lot of ways it is almost identical.

If you had xanax that lasted as long as valium i think it would be even nicer / more addictive.

Some people prefer GHB to GBL and it doesn't surprise me some people prefer valium to xanax.

I withdrawed successfully about 3 months ago.
Approx. 2 years of daily use. Mainly alprazolam, diazepam, clonazepam, bromazepam & midazolam.
My highest daily dose was 8-9mg alprazolam (along with methylphenidate).
I didn't exactly have a taper plan but my benzo intake reduced when I stopped taking methylphenidate & when I was down to 2-4mg alprazolam a day I just went cold turkey!
Not the wisest move I know, but I had a some valium & rivotril on hand incase things got really bad.
The headaches, insomnia & anxiety were the worst part of withdrawals. After 2 weeks tho things started to return to normal.

I only take the occasional dose of valium or xanax nowadays when coming down off mdma or acid. :)
 
benzos are usefull for come downs, or when mixed with a SMALL amount of booze, or some pot. roche 10s are everywhere now where i live. i love xanax, but i cant get them anymore:(
theres more of a kick, and if u take diazepam with it, you dont notice its short duration as much {IMO} just yesterday i came across some Halcion (triazolam) .25s. Even stronger than xanax if you ask me, its the mother of all benzos:)
 
^ yer,tend to just keep em for comedowns / no sleep etc(standard blue diaz),
prob be pretty easy to make a habit tho,but find em hard to get here,so save em for when i really need em,
 
I reckon I've had 3 seizures due to Xanax, all occurred 4 days after the last dose after a moderate build up of benzo usage. Tend to get brain zaps and jittery after overuse of xanax which starts 4 days after usage and subsides after another 3-4 days.

Being very careful with them now, strictly for sleeping issues following recreational evenings.
 
I bought a load of vallium and xanax a while back in an attempt to use them to get high. As some people have mentioned they are not really high givers unless you have an anxiety problem.

After a night on the stims, a couple of xanax is fantastic for taking that edgyness off you and helping you sleep. A couple of vallium the next day ensures a relitivly minimal comedown. I find benzos fantastic for things like this.

I have tried xananx and vallium with booze and like people have said I too ended up doing crazy random shit and didnt remember a thing until I saw the video footage on a friends phone the next day! One time I took just 1mg xanax and a couple bottles of corona and had a really nice time that I remembered but it did still make me do and say things that were a little out there!

Recenntly, as in a few days ago, tried vallium with codeine and this seems to be a very pleasant combination indeed. Once I got the balance right (as in not knocking myself out) I found my sweet spot and it is very nice to relax on a sofa / bed and watch a film.

I tried knocking myself out with Vallium after a Meph binge MrM and yes it worked but felt very groggy the next day because of the amount I had to take. I would reccommend the xanan if you are knocking yourself out after any stim and then the vallium the next day to ride it out.
 
Fav I've tried is tamazepam. Shame it's so hard to get hold off.

Sink 3 or 4 with a beer while rolling a joint after work, slap on some tunes and prepare to enter heaven.

I find it interesting that some many people enjoy benzos recreationally - especially Alprazolam. On the few times I have tried it, 0.5mg didn't seem to do anything, 1mg sent me to sleep and 2mg sent me sleep, wiped my memory and turned me into a zombie for a day.

Obviously it must be just how I react, but it's so strange that I have not experienced any positive effects.
 
I like Temazepam especially for sleep but to be honest ive only ever had Diazepam,Lorazepam & Temazepam.

Ive been on Diazepam 20mg for at leat 10 months and it just doesnt do anything anymore,expet lower your sex drive.Thats tolerance i guess.
Just be careful what you wish for,i always wanted the magic benzo script and now im regretting it.:\
 
I don't find Temazepam recreational at all, 10mg knocks me straight out....great as a sleep aid though.

I'm a bi-monthly user, usually diazepam. Xanax works for anxiety if needed, but it's not prefferred. I've used Bromazepam, Rophynol, Alprazolam, Clonazepam (orally disentegrating as well), Temazepam.

It's a tossup between Diazepam and Clonazepam, only Roche brand. I alternate, but Clon's are more bang for your buck, but easier to abuse.
 
Why are people so bothered by this roche brand? Its the same chemical surly?
 
I am not going to go into sources obviously, but I have never had any bad batches I buy. Then again I have never tried the Roche ones, maybe I should to compare!

I like to valium whilst on meph, and even a little codeine to. Fucking perfect. Be careful with mixing opiates and downers, my tolerance to both are really quite high (Valium 200 mg per day, Codeine 150 per day)
 
Is the valium taken all in one dose or spread out same with codeine? And od you have the lil 30mg pur codi tabs are co-codamol? What type of valum
are you using bensedin or apuriine or off the doc?? ANd do youy take your opiate with food or best before food does it matter?

Aputline I think mine are but not 100% sure.

I havent played around too much with the timing of things but I usually take them together when I do, I have taken 90mg Codeine with 20mg Vallium which seems to be my sweet spot....so far. Like I said, I haven't played around too much with timings of doses. I take them together.

I get codeine 30/500 and do a CWE on it. I usually wash down the vallium pills with the CWE result....with a bit of juice of course!
 
@ Harley, yeh, I will be careful, thanks for the heads up though.

Your codeine tollerence doesnt seem too high going by the amounts stated above (in fact, that seems like a good recreational dose, I know I would enjoy that much anyway) but the vallium tollerance seems through the roof! Thats a lot of vallies man.
 
erimin!! if u ever get to try them theyre awesome. mainly found in asian countries. i was introduced to them by my international friends who had come here to study. Some how they make me so damn happy where other benzos dont!
