Interesting that different Benzos have different effects/ side effect profiles and a wide range of acceptability. So Xanax might be my favorite (although I'll take IV versed of the ones Ive done) Somebody else likes valium, yet another person thinks Rohypnol is the best thing since God.
From my personal experience- I feel Clonazepam is for squares to quote W Burroughs. Im Rxed it but for me, despite having a longer half life is barely euphoric, less sedating, less effective at quickly terminating a panic attack. Now my friend preferes them to xanax or ativan- they are his favorite. In fact they are the number one sought after at the clinic. Maybe they are more effective at potentiating opiate highs. An aside, though, they used to not be picked up as benzos on the UA tests for some reason- that might have accounted for their popularity.
Wish I could have tried the Jellies. Got Restoril brand out here- it was Rxed several times and had a steady one for a year. Kinda think I might like ambien better.
Ativan- I think its better when in IV solution even if used PO. Has a weird sickly sweet taste b/c it is disolved in Glycerin.
IV ativan or IV Versed- if you can remeber the high.
Now straying slightly from benzos- there were Green Jell caps filled with Placidyl 750 mg and the 500 mg red ones. They made you feel great. Stoped making them in 99'. Would feel a pleasant burn in your stomach and then your head would feel a swimmy sort of euphoria along the lines of IV dilaudid.
Seconal, Nembutal, Tuinal, all the clasic barbitutates- hard to get unless you are in a place were euthanasia is allowed. But the high was sublime- the euphoria of alcohol x 3 without the heavy feeling. Could get Nembutal from vet pharmacies in Tijuana until the NY Times wrote an article about death tourists and ruined it for everyone.
Methaqualone (Mandrax)- Never tried it but legendary- you would think someone would step to the plate.
But for me Xanax bars are my versatile all round favorites. Also like Temazepam, Valium, Halcion, Versed, I consider top shelf. When it comes down to it. When you are withdrawing and pop a few clonopins- last time I did my anxiety was replaced by a nice relaxed euphoria.
If you can get a hold of them- 3somas plus make you feel real good. 1/3 of drug metabolized to meprobamate. Just careful you don't OD- I came close- passing out with food in my moth- displaying weird parkinsons symptoms/ on the verge of convulsion, and suffering horible falls/ amnesia. But the feeling of euphoria you get right before passing out is priceless. But again use caution and titrate dose- sorry had to throw a few non- benzos in.
