benzo cross tolerance ?

i could not find a thread that answered this so hear i am last night i did something i haven't done in a while. Ingested 6mg of klonopin. I used to do this all the time and i could no effects from it other than i little wobbliness. lately i have been keeping my benzo use to a minimum cause i am afraid of dependence. the effects from lat night were well i cant remember probably cause i washed them down with 10mg ambien and hour and half later. basically what i want to know is did i just screw up my benzo tolerance and will 3mg of xanax still have me floatin? thanks all and have a good day

Yea man id think u'd be ok. If u find that it doesnt get u as fucked up as it used to, id just take a 5 day break.

In case you're not aware, benzos are not euphoric and withdrawal can cause seizures, hallucinations, and death. If you legitimately need them, that's one thing, but there's really no good reason to be taking that much regularly without a medical basis for it.

If you're hell bent on it, yes, benzodiazapines have cross tolerance. However, Xanax is a faster acting, stronger benzo so 3mg is roughly equivalent to 5-6 mg clonazepam. Luckily it's pretty impossible to actually OD and die on benzos, but it will skyrocket your tolerance if you keep trying to get high on them.
