Hello! let me just say i've been using this site for years and i love it! so thankful for it as it's helped me through my whole high school career. I've just made an account and have reviewed a lot of rules and will continue to review them. I have a lot of knowledge about a good number of topics of the forum and will be helping as many people as i can!

i have been prescribed 40mg of vyvanse over a month ago and what benefits i had! Recently I was prescribed klonopin (clonazepam) since im prone to anxiety and have been taking xanax my mom gives me lately at night and sometimes i take them during the day. I only takes 20-30mg of vyvanse because that's all i need since i smoke a lot of cannabis(I cannot deal with the crazy paranoid SUPER-speedy feeling cannabis gives if i smokes on a lot of vyvanse). I was told by m Dr. to take a half a tab to a full tab for anxiety (figuring I don't take it every night). After a few days of taking 1 a day (tolerance that im bringing down) I realized the LONG life of clonzepam has relieved anxiety throughout the next day even while taking 30 mg of vyvanse AND smoking!!

Let me mention I feel I'm indigo;more spiritual and active in my mind therefore that's why i feel I'm diagnosed with "ADHD"(Doesn't like govt. made pills). The vyvanse are just temporary to do labor work and school. clonazepam are for me to calm the hell down at night cuz SOMETIMES it just wont go away.

to the question:
will these doses of these meds be harmful if I play everything as safe as possible and watche for any signs of addiction? I know all about withdrawals so no need to mention.

Really sorry about that i was on my iPhone just trying to do a quick post.
But, no answer from anybody?
I've done all kinds of research on this i just want to put my story out there for some advice :)

Marijuana interferes with the ability of your medicine to work. Smoking and being on clonazepam may feel harmless, but it's still doing damage. If you have a mental disorder and want to be healthy don't smoke weed.

Taking the xanax is obviously not a good idea. It actually creates more anxiety than it helps. Not to mention you're doing it without the care of your doctor.

Some say those two meds shouldn't be prescribed together as they largely cancel out each other. I say they do to an extent, but in select persons it's a useful combination. From the experience of those around me I can say that they smooth out the rough edges of each other.

Only a doctor can really tell if you're addicted. Keep watching for withdrawal signs.

ADHD isn't the only reason to prescribe stims.

I'm no doctor so this isn't medical advice. Nothing I say is. And I don't condone or participate in illegal activity.

If you haven't already, tell your doctor that you smoke weed. They will keep it confidential, and it will help him or her better treat your anxiety and attention disorder. There is no consensus among doctors as to whether or not weed is beneficial psychologically. Conservative doctors will often say that it contributes to depression and kills your motivation. Liberal doctors might go as far as recommending it as a treatment.

Now for the bad news. Benzos are addictive even in thereaputic doses, and, the fact that you're mixing two different kinds is not helping the fact. The big problem with benzos is their nasty side effect of causing seizures upon withdrawal. That said, you should consult a medical professional as soon as possible before making any kind of change, whether it seems like it is for better or worse.

My last concern would be that you are developing regular use patterns for not one but four different drugs. Thus, it is almost impossible to determine what is actually going on regarding their long term health effects.
