Benzo and opiate addiction-new member

new member, thought I'd share some light on my 3 year xanax and opiate addiction. I've been addicted to these evil pills for a little over three years now. First year, I was taking maybe 3(2mg) xanax bars a day and snorting 4 oxycodone 10mgs. Second year I was popping 6 bars and 8 oxy's daily. I know, it's horrible to combine benzodiazepines and opiates..anyways, 3rd year I was popping 10 bars and 14 oxys..

Glad to have you man, new here as well. I was addicted to benzos and stopped luckily before I caught my opiate / heroin habitat . So thankfully both those addictions never got mixed in with each other.

Welcome to both of you

Benzos can be one hell of a drug to become addicted to as withdrawal can be brutal and fatal if not done correctly by tapering. You will see quite a few threads in 'Other Drugs' regarding both benzos and opiates or if your just fancying a chat check out 'social'.

Hey there! I'm also a new member! I've been on Clonazepam & Subs for 12 years myself... I used to be on 3-4 Oxy 80s & taking 2 bars a day myself... Just wanted to say hey & I absolutely know what you're going through. Happy to talk if you'd like!

same here I'm finding it so hard being on 700mg+ codeine and Xanax that I've been on for years to come off them I'm hoping to stick with you guys and cut down slowly
