benzo addiction

how often should BENZOS be used for recreational use without a possible addiction i took 1mg k-pin about three days ago waited a day and took 1.5mg with like 6 beers,and i rather like the affects,i have 2.5mgs left and im savin them for a few days to get better affects(hopefully)
i know the above isnt very many benzos BUT im about to place an order for..
100-1mg-lorazepam
100-10mg-valium
and 50-1mg-xanax(all generic though)
can someone tell me how often each should be used,should i stick to once -twice a week of one then the next week go to a different one??
what do you suggest people..?

It's not going to matter if you switch from one benzo to another from week to week, especially with those three, because their is a fair bit of cross-tolerance...
As for the frequency question, it really depends. If you can keep it to a couple of times a week, you will have no problems with addiction or withdrawal, though your tolerance will increase.
In reality it probably takes months (or at least several weeks) of continuous use to develop a dependancy to benzos...but once you do you are FUCKED. Don't take that chance and save them for once or twice a week.

As I posted in another thread a few days ago, I was prescribed 1mg Klonopins to take 3 times a day. Prior to that I had been taking 1-2mgs as needed as a sleeping pill. I told my doctor that I was taking them when I had anxiety attacks as well, so she upped my prescription to the three times daily thing. I had been taking them irregularly for several months as a sleeping aid. Then I took them 3 times daily for about 2 months straight.
My memory was suffering severly and I was never really with it, so I decided to quit one day. I had no problems at all with any type of withdrawal. My opinion is that benzo addiction is almost entirely psychological from my experience. I never had any desire to take Klonopin again and never did.
Also, I think Klonopin has a "dirty" feel to it. Out of the big three, Valium is the only one I like. I'm not a benzo fan, though, so I'm sure others might disagree.
Anyways, I think your biggest concern should be memory problems, not addiction. Besides, you already ARE addicted. Nobody goes out and gets that many pills without having a drug problem to begin with. And with that many pills, I guarantee the next few months will be a big blur to you.

Physical withdrawal from a heavy benzo habit is VERY real, trust me...even without strong cravings you can end up going into seizures or merely sleepless and extremely agitated for weeks. It's not fucking pleasant.
You were lucky SC and 2 months, as I said, probably wasn't long enough at those doses to create serious physical withdrawl, but it's something to keep in mind if you have an assload of benzos coming your way.
Personally I don't really like benzos for recreation either, but the poster obviously does. I wouldn't say he was addicted necessarily, but that's another argument.
btw with those generic tabs you will probably find you have to take more than usual.

You could get a buck or two for each pill. If the people you're dealing with are desperate I guess you could ask for $5 per pill but that would be a shitty thing to do.

Addiction to benzos is one of the few addictions that medically you have anything to worry about.

don't get hooked on benzos, take them in extreme moderation.
i was taking a lot of xanax for a long period time. i finally realized that it was doing nothing for me anymore, except fucking up my memory, so i decide to just stop taking them. that was really dumb of me. when i stopped i had no cravings for them at all, in fact i totaly forgot about xanax... this was until three night later. to make a long story shot, i had a massive seizure, my parents called 911 and the next thing i remember is being in my bed with like 12 perimedics around me. i had a fuckin blood pressure of 70/0 that's not a typo, it was 70/0 (yeah, i should be dead). while i absolutely did not have a mental addiction to the benzo, my body definitely did.
so be careful with that shit.

No one can give you any DEFINITIVE numbers here - it's not like you can say "well if you consume 2mg of Xanax each day you will be an addict in 37.2 days" .. each person reacts differntly, and as some said, addiction is NEVER an issue ...
Generally with benzos, the body becomes physically dependant after a prolonged period of use - and yes, if you stop using without properly tapering yourself off, you CAN have seizures, suffer horrible withdrawal symptoms, and in a worse case, you can die (benzos are one of the VERY FEW DRUGS in which withdrawal can be fatal, however, you REALLY have to be a heavy user for this to be a valid concern) ..
Some find the psychological aspect of addiction sets in fairly quickly, especially when the drug is taken for an 'escape' ..
The most common side effect is not being able to get to sleep or relax without the damn pills! When I go without my Klonopin I can't get to sleep for the life of me.. even if I am dead tired, I can't get more then an hour of sleep before I wake up and can't get back to sleep.. it's not like I am addicted to benzos, hell, I wouldn't even say I am physically dependant - but if I use them for more then a couple days, it will take me about a full week before I can get my sleep habbits back to normal (though I never suffer any other side effects related to physical dependance) ..
YMMV so be carefull, one persons story about addiction may not be anywhere accurate for you!
