Stimulants Benedrex

So I've had a cold these past few days and tonight after work I decided to stop at CVS to get some tylonol cold and some vick's. As i'm looking at the vick's display, I see a "Benedrex" inhaler. At first I couldnt remember where I saw that name before, but then it hit me. I remember reading post's on here, about taking Benedrex to get high. Naturally, being the addict that I am, I bought one. I swallowed the cotton about 10 minutes ago and am waiting patiently for my high. I was a little nervous about eating the cotton at first because EVERYONE on here, made such a big deal about it, saying that its so hard to swallow...the taste makes you gag...ect.... Well, it wasnt hard to swallow and it only took 1 attempt to do so. I poured a glass of powerade, took a big sip, put the cotton in my mouth, took another sip and swallowed. 1,2,3..done. From what i've read, it takes about an hour to an hour and a half to start feeling effects. I'm honestly skeptical about feeling anything. Fpr some reason i'm having a hard time believing you can get high off of an OTC med, but I guess time will tell. I'll keep you posted if anything happens. Any feedback on experiance with benedrex?

Well if this is true I feel like you might not have done quite as much research on propylhexedrine as you could have. All I know about it is reports of a nasty comedown but I'm sure erowid has more.

If you swallowed the cotton whole you might be in for a long ride. The onset will be extremely gradual, the peak will last for hours, and the comedown will last forever. You shouldn't eat the cotton; it's not good for your GI tract, but should most likely pass through harmlessly. Consuming the whole cotton is like taking an exteneded release formulation of Propylhexedrine. If you're going to do it, extraction is the preferred method.

You really should have done some research before you took this stuff. It is an extremely potent vasoconstrictor, and it's honestly a pretty strong stimulant all together. Definitely do yourself a favor in the future and study up on new substances you plan on using before you use them, (especially one's like this) so as to reduce the risk of harm to yourself or to others.

Thanks for the input...it's been over an hour and a half and i still feel nothing. I'm layng in bed, very comfy and cozy and about to goto sleep.

The couple times I tried the benzedrex inhalers, I cut the cotton up into half a dozen pieces, and soaked them in lemon juice for 45 minutes give or take. Then removed the cotton, squeezed any excess out, and gulped down the shot of propelhexadrine/lemon juice mixture. Always worked for me, I was actually pleasantly surprised in how well they work, and the comedown was nothing too unbearable. During the peak (6 hours or so), I was incredibly motivated, got a shit load of work/phone calls done, and combined with a few bowls of weed and klonopin I was feeling fucking magical.

Can't imagine these inhalers are good to take very often, and eating the cottong whole is especially bad.. can cause massive GI discomfort, and blockage. As well as not releasing the drug very quickly.
