Benadryl Overdose?

i have taken benadryl on and of for yrs and i do like the relaxing feeling if you dont take to much, but that only lasts a few days, as for your question if you would have been overdosed it would have happened by now, you doing any other drugs? like pot or methadone or subutex who knows maybe you just have sensitive eyes but i am sure the benadryl is gone by now ashla

That's something you should have accounted for BEFORE you took an unrecommended dose of diphenhydramine.

No one can tell you what after effects you're going to experience. From what other people have told me about them trying it, they tend to feel something pressing on their brain for months after the experience, and a long while down the road it'll suddenly be lifted off. They had somewhat of a hangover for quite a long time.

With this being said, maybe you weren't the brightest lightbulb in the store, so you may not notice a difference.

A friend of mine experienced an inability to focus his eyes on even moderate sized print for about a week after anticholinergic poisoning (brugmansia). The effects really linger.

Perhaps wait a few days, and if it's really disturbing you wear sunglasses. If your pupils don't start behaving normally in 10-14 days I'd see a doctor.
 
yeah like everyone saying, it wasnt too good of an idea. i too have taken benedryl in high doses and everytime i do i see clear, type worms that look like there made of jelly crawl over the walls and on the border of everything i focus my eyes on. i also feel my eyes dialate when i do benedryl it hard to focus on things for a couple of days after. i think you will be fine health-wise, but seriously the cons outweigh the pros with this substance i wouldnt suggest taking that much again

Alota people wouldn't think of doing it, but I popped 15 benny's once and I trippppped ballllz. I mean talking to people who weren't there trippin. Wont do it again. Felt like shit for the entire week.
 
When I went to the ER for a reaction to medication, their solution was to give me a Benadryl injection (IM I think)

It was extremely relaxing, and it was enjoyable. So I can understand taking Benadryl to get that feeling
 
Benedryl OD

I think you'll probably be just fine. Hard on the kidneys if you make this a regular thing. Not really good for much but knockin your ass out. Pretty hard to stay awake long enough to consume the amount it would take to "od". I can tell you I would be careful taking high doses of Benedryl because of the tolerance factor. If you build a tolerance to Diphenhydramine and you have any serious allergies, the antihistamine will not be as effective in treating it. For example Bee stings. If you have a reaction to a Bee sting and are popping 625mgs of diphenhydramine on a regular basis, you may find yourself in real trouble. This is of course my own opinion based on personal experience :)
 
We already know that Diphenhydramine bodyload is among the highest of all drugs, even more recreationally, but I used to do Diph 3 nights per week 4 years ago and now, that I have experience with amounts of LSD, 2C-E, DXM, K, lots and lots and lots of benzos and opiates, etc. I can say that the 'trip' that Diphenhydramine creates its UNIQUE. I think it Really deserves a try, at least one or two times per year. Belladonna alkaloids.... gotta have to love the fear and despair... also, the music appreciation on large doses of Diphenhydramine (350mg~) its UNIQUE too. No other drug can make you hear the "sound channels behind" a song.
As long as nobody goes beyond 400mg I think this drug can be taken recreationally sometimes without problem. As long you know what youre taking and what you will feel... I think its all right.
 
i weigh 140 pounds, ive never done any drug before, but i want to try something small like benedryl. will 8 be too much? or not enough? for my 1st time.
 
I enjoy benadryl quite a lot, then again i also enjoy datura whilst most do not. NewKid 140 pounds i would recommend starting out at 12 pills (assuming 25mg per) if you enjoy that 16, then 18-20+. i also recomment taking 2 excedrin tablets to relieve some flu like symptoms and a little drowsyness, and if you have them caffeine pills or pseudoephedrine. an energy drink works too, anything to keep you from uncomfortably dipping in and out of consciousness.

If you've never done any other substances before, and you want to try something small, then Diphenhydramine is absolutely not the right one to try.
It's not considered a "high", but actual delirium. It's not particularly fun for most people (you'll be able to see that on Erowid's Trip Reports).
If you want to try something small, then try some Weed or a "downer" or something, but please, please don't try DPH full stop or atleast until you've had some experience with Hallucinogenics. But even then they're not really much alike except seeing things that aren't reality and even then they're similar in completely different ways.

God, I never thought I'd hear someone effectively advocating the use of this deliriant. I guess there's a first for everything :p
 
Inhibiting your acetylcholine transmission is unnerving, but it is quite the experience. I don't know if I would ever do it again, but maybe seven years ago I used Benedryl a few times in order to make my dextromethorphan trips more intense. I had some of the most realistic wild hallucinations. It was delirious, but quite the intense visual experience.

I didn't really understand how cholinesterase and acetylcholine worked at that age. I don't really like the idea of doing it now.
 
Yes. You overdosed. LOL. I thought that was your intent. I did like it too the first few times I did it. It's sort of a mellow, don't give a fuck about anything high at first. Then it gets delirious. Which can be fun too if you stay safe. Just have a sober trip sitter or lock yourself in a padded room and you should be fine :) and dilated pupils is nothing to worry over. You could be having worse side effects, like not being able to piss for days..or having your heart start skippin beats (rare, but it happens)

Oh yes..I got IV benadryl for an allergic reaction to a bee sting and oh man...it felt nice. Almost comparable to an iv benzo.
