stumblin confused wandrin round
shadows consuming the lit ground
fallin spinnin in circles round
beautiful dog locked in a pound
magnify sun on an ants mound
cant hear yourself scream not a sound
holding yourself back as if bound
starving when chained malnourished hound
laceration drips when not wound
peer deep in self or wont be found
darkness extinguishes all light
contradict black hole spinning bright
salty fluid blurs your near sight
cant be all that’s left not quite right
looming monster infinite height
engulfs fire star leaving just night
rope around your neck gets pulled tight
if only your thoughts have been white
push back push back with all your might
sorrow despair wont win the fight
end of the rainbow but no gold
nuclear truck deprived of load
lifeless body that’s clammy cold
could this be the the fruit god forebode?
rising hope that life can be sold
putrid stench like black plague of mold
picture hopeless nightmare ten fold
emotionless poem not an ode
the one less traveled by this road
believe you would if it was showed
