Being judged by other drug users

the worst is the ppl who will be like "dude lsd stays in u forever, its ACID man when u crack ur back u will flashback nd it even makes ppl go insane" nd the same ppl will eat advocate shrooms cuz theyre natural. other frustratingly false dichotomies like oc/heroin, coke/crack, alcohol/pot, like one's not as bad for you as the other, they're all drugs, they all gonna be bad if you abuse them.
 
Im in a different situation. My friends and I all judge each other if were stll using opiates or not. Or if were doing "good", like a job, money, clean, methadone...that kinda thing.
I have been doing good...almost of methadone, got all my carries, work full time.. SO I dont feel judged. But I always end up judging my buddies who are on methadone a for 2 years and still got no carries, smoke crack and oxys every day still. I judge them.\

Fuck everyone here smokes oxys now...soo STUPID! I judge them..lol
 
^^^ yea man but its another thing to judge someone based on a inherently dangerous or harmful roa. thats legit.
 
it is easy to judge but its also stupid because its anyones choice to do what they like with their life (unless it affects someone else).

all of my friends r pot heads (as i was) but now i like pills better. they all think its wildness but i just laugh cuz i know im feeling better than they ever cud off bud. i know its a trade off but i cud care less atm haha
 
I wont deny that benzos have a risk and addiction potential on their own, let alone mixed with opiates like Kratom or pain pills. However, as someone who has tried many herbal products (I am an herbalist myself) and found that absolutely nothing stops a panic attack as quickly and reliably as a benzo, it seemed a little harsh coming from somebody who has no idea what I am going through.

This guy wasnt all bad mind you. He is an interesting character and a proponent of great things like Ibogaine for addiction...However, he was intolerant and hyper vigilant about it. We eventually worked it out but its a shame that I even had to defend myself from a fellow psychonaut.
 
Yea a lot of my friends judge(d) me for doing x .....yet they black out all the time drinking 8)

I think it's a reflection of the own person's fears/ignorance of drugs on top of fear of the judgement society has regarding the drug

I think its a combination of cortisol deficiency, low blood sugar and a result of auto-immune inflammation.

Said what i wanted to, so hypocritical especially heavy drinkers who are generally more self destructive than most E takers IME
 
I feel pretty uncomfortable judging anyone since _my_ standards are irrelevant to their life's situation, except by coincidence. That said, if it seems like my friends are fucking up then I'll tell them that I'm concerned and that they should probably do something to cut it out. If I'm full of shit, they'll let me know and we're cool, if I'm not then whatever happens happens but my conscience is clean.

When you're fucking up, it's always sobering (whether you feel good about it or not) to have someone that matters to you tell you that they are concerned about what's happening. The difference being that in one case they are concerned, in another, they are judgmental.

Both are a buzzkill but there is an important difference, I feel.

For some people it can be triggered by stress or an event and then a fear of a panic attack will take over creating a panic disorder
In brief, there are loads of reasons why people start having panic attacks, drugs stress predisposition to them, some just happen with no reason

Pot was my first trigger

No phobias. No external triggers. Its biological. Im not saying there isnt a psychological component, but more than anything else I am afraid of the panic attacks themselves.

It might not be a true panic attack. Its endocrine in origin, but its like a panic attack and nothing works as quickly as a benzo in treating it.
 
^Opiates are pretty fast ;) but deffo not advisable
But benzos work by far the best, diazepam for general anxiety and panic attacks worked best for me when i had a real bad problem with it. Better now but was left with an addiction
 
Some opiates kill my anxiety like morphine and Dilaudid.

Hydrocodone and Oxycodone actually increase my anxiety. Hydro makes me dizzy and oxy makes me anxious and cant sleep.
 
I tend to judge a lot of other drug users as idiots but only those who are old enough to know better...but don't, and perpetuate stupid and outdated myths. Also when people who are using drugs in a stupid way and give other users or addicts a bad name for THEIR stupidity. just because I take drugs doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing
 
Judged by other drug users basically includes just about everyone doesn't it? I have one friend who will not change his mental state with coffee or alcohol due to his belief in zen and such things, but other than that, they are all drug users, illegal or illegal....
