Hey new chick here from Texas. I've been visiting bl for years now and I'm glad I'm finally a member. Ive gotten great insight from members here and I cant wait to post my own opinions and experiences. I dibble dabble with pretty much everything once in a while. My current DOC is meth and weed. Ive been to treatment a few months ago for the first time, but relapsed. I'm human shit happens. Hopefully I can gain more insight on my future road to recovery here. Later!

I love your mantra ' I'm human shit happens' so true and not worth beating ourselves up over the slip ups along our route.

Yo, yo, yo. I'm in the same boat, been reading for bout a decade. Just joined after I finally was able to get myself completely opiate free which is kinda cool. I actually have turned myself into a casual drug user now.

It took a move across the country and getting kicked out of my new sub program for picking up a Vic script for a tooth abcess that did the trick. But, I honestly think you can do it at home, I was on subs for 3 years, just got into cocaine while I did that. Assuming your best friend isnt a drug dealer, you should be okie dokie as long as you continue to make this a very real goal.

I'm actually unsure what the profanity rules for BL are, Bearlove wanna help a bro out? Best of luck OP, take care and be safe.

E: Also, since I am interested in keepin it casual, is there a subforum, or a thread you're aware of mods, that I could check out for that.
