Taking from 1600 to 2400 mgs daily.

I used to take Piracetam as my first experiment with Nootropic drugs. I took it for a week (1600 mg daily), then I forgot about it and left it dissapointed. Noticing little or no change in my cognitive capabilites (aparts from some kind of obfuscation that lasted for a couple of hours).

But, on the advice of BSiren and other people who claim it brings back the magic, I began taking it again. And...

HOLY CRAP!: Piracetam is the SHIT. I feel so much awake and mentally agile. And it shows at my workplace. I ran out of it one week ago but I still feel better than normal.

Now, I really have lost a lot of interest in E. I want to try Nootropics. People why don't we have a nootropics board here? It's legal and I'm sure they can improve people's lives. For example, I think Piracetam has reversed at least some of the damage made by meth, E, amphetamines and other chemicals. (which was giving me lots of trouble in my daily life, really.)

I'll report ina month. I so want to try Deprenyl and Vinpocetine now.

I've been using piracetam for about a month now, and it seems to work, slightly, but I can't really draw any concrete conclusions:

Here are some points I noted that may or may not be placebo.

1) I feel more "on-the-ball" in general.
2) Conversations are more flowy. I feel like I'm actually communicating instead of what I usually do which is: think about what I'm about to say while the person is talking. There seems to be a certain level of comfort in conversations. I also feel more engaged so-to-speak.
3) I still can't pay attention at school. Ritalin worked wonders for this but I got sooo depressed
4) Colours are more vibrant, music more crispy. I remember I stopped using it for 2 days... and I looked around and I was like "why is everything so dull...?" and then I was like OH YEAH I ran out of piracetam :P
5) I feel more at peace with my thoughts. Like I can trust them. I'm used to telling my brain not to do this, not to do that. Now I act before I think, and I tend to do the right thing. If I was sober, I would usually do dumb things if I acted impulsively.
6) I get a mini-version of those positive thoughts from shrooms, E, etc. Just more optimistic and less stressed in general.

Funny thing though, since I started using piracetam - I never actually correlated this but:

1) I started jogging for 40 minutes before school every morning
2) I started a strength training program @ the gym 3x per week
3) Applied for the Military Reserve forces

I feel like I'm actively pursuing my dreams instead of just passively thinking about them.

Dosage:

3 grams, 3x per day (Morning, afternoon, night) for about a week
Then did 7 grams, 3x per day.
Then I started doing 10 grams WHENEVER, average 3x a day though probably (this is where the vibrancy and colors really kicked in, but it went away in a few days)
When I noticed I ran out of "gas" (I guess choline)? I lowered it to 2.4g 2x per day

Piracetam is really the first nootropic I've seen to write home about, although there are others that really aren't in the limelight as they're quite rare. I used to know of a russian site that sold a number of them, but I don't remember it. Piracetam is great, though =) I'm glad things have worked out for you!! I can honestly say it has helped a lot with my short term memory which I'm fairly certain was hampered in some way by MDMA (although there's still no proof behind this). It also works great with MDMA, but the last time I rolled I had a nasty hangover even with piracetam (which could be chocked up to me doing methylone, mephedrone, and mdpv a couple days later =D ). I'm still going to take a long break from MDMA either way.

10g x 3 times a day so you were eating over an ounce a day at one point? I ate 7 grams one day and had a bit of an upset stomach that might not have been related to the piracetam but i decided not to push it any further than that because of this.

I just started 1-2g a day, and had headaches at first, but went away with a choline supplement.

I also had headaches if I took it with SJW, so I stopped the SJW.

Do you build tolerance to piracetam? I've never taken it with a roll, but I've heard good things... however, most of that was from people who took it with the roll itself and not normally as a supplement. Any ideas on long term usage effects?

I've been taking piracetam for about two and a half weeks, 1600mg a day (with 3200mg the first day and the day of the roll). I rolled (candyflipped) over the weekend and I now completely understand what everyone had been saying about the lucidity. It was amazing for me. I'm not sure how much of it was due to it being combined with acid, which is an incredible combo in and of itself, but it was by far one of the best nights of my life and in many ways felt like my first roll again. I felt so much empathy it was beyond belief. I think I may write a trip report.

I honestly don't think I feel much of a change in my day to day life, though.

I found after taking piracetam for extended periods (2 weeks) prior to an event, it didn't significantly impact the intensity of my rolling. However, an attack dose two days before (1600 mgs one day, 2200 the next) REALLY made things much stronger, clearer and more empathetic. =) That's just my own experience however- I'm glad it's working well for you too!

It also seems to potentiate any stimulant, I found myself wired from coffee (which never happens), and I felt like I was rolling off 10 mgs of ephedrine (a small dose).

I have been taking Piracetam for a little over a month now - 1 or 2 grams daily. I love the effects it has on my everyday life - I feel more focused and attentive. I have noticed some headaches - especially on days that I'd taken higher doses.

I was originally just curious about piracetam's effects on day-to-day life (I haven't lost the magic), but I ate 300mg of Molly at an event last week and have never had a more intense rolling experience in my life. Piracetam seems like a very nice potentiator, but it's daily effects are certainly just as if not more interesting to me.

I just got done with a vyvanse&ritalin fueled all night study binge. Dosed up with about 2.5 grams of piracetam before i started, and then once again near the end.

Glorrrrious things!!! Can't wait to try it with MDMA
