Hello my fellow saints and sinners, leaders and team players, helpers and hurters,
I am here in hopes of connecting with people who need help in the same way I do. I also think that sharing my experiences could be beneficial to others. I have lived on a roller coaster my entire life as far as mental health matters. I have served in the military, spent my savings on drugs, earned multiple college degrees, and tried to end my life. I like to think making mistakes is how we develop life experience, and Lord knows I've made so many damn mistakes!
Question: The following was on the home page rules, and I'm not sure if it's serious, as I have seen nothing but people referring to themselves using those terms. "No SWIMming: using terms like 'SWIM/my pet hamster/my mum's iguana' do not protect you and are just silly to read. We don't do that here." Am I not allowed to remain a member of the Doe family? Any kind of dialogue, advice, or information is welcome and very much appreciated!
