Have had many questions answered here while using on the streets. Got sober and got terminally ill and am on hospice. Grateful for yall and wealth of info i have found here.

Hey' thank you. I have stage 4 cirrhosis (drinking), chronic pancreatitis (yeah drinking). I am almost 2 yrs sober now. The main problem is that i have severe crohns. The internal bleeding has caused severe anemia. Medicaid no longer wants to pay for iron infusions. Becuz of cirrhosis i am not able to take crohns meds. Pain management is a joke here in NC. So I am grateful for hospice becuz i am mostly comfortable now. Thing is they just switched me from morphine er (30mg every 8 hrs) to 50 mcg fentanyl every 48 hr change and my pain level is now back to very uncomfortable. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had problems with fentanyl working. I hate bitching cuz i know i am blessed to get what i do get.
