Dripping under sheets
and turning slowly.
An attempt on each side
but each turn lies
right to self with truth
left trapped under pillows
and somewhere
between dream.
One hand extends
over the edge
of the mattress
an indication of inquiry
of intent to reach
past this inertia
to briefly touch the out
side
but they're both the same.
