Hey people I have found that after taking a large amount of a psychedelic (usually shrooms for me around 7gs and up, better with 10.5), about an hour after I feel it I begin to see the world as an artist. I am not that artistic sober and have trouble seeing things differently or with creativity. As I am tripping out I see like 6 different shades of blue in a single cloud, I look in the mirror and see myself as an oil painting, I just see patterns where I haven't beore like shapes in the voids of tree branches, etc. After the the trip is done I have like half completed a drawing or painting and it (my artistic eye) all just fades away slowly after a span of like 36 hours ( I think after the trip it goes but I still remember for a bit what I saw and how I saw it sort of an after glow thing).

My question is does this happen to anyone else when doing pychs? And does it just last for your trip like mine?

I actually feel very similarly. I'm in a creative major at school but have a very hard time meeting project deadlines at school due to my mind being naturally inclined towards logical analysis rather than creative analysis. My first time tripping on acid (2 really strong tabs) I saw so many amazing patterns and images that I would've loved to take a snapshot of in order to draw them later. At one point I saw a guy leaving the library while I was sitting outside and his body came out of the doorway as a mesh of black swirls, and when he was fully outside the swirls formed into his body....that was incredible.

^^ If you don't see more colors than usually, it doesn't mean that other people who see them are abnormal. ;)

So when you trip really hard you see all these colors and patterns you dont see normally?
IDK bro you should probably get checked out by a doctor thats some serious shit

LOL. yeah, some people are just more visual than others. I've been painting, drawing, creating since I could pick up a pencil so value and color is what I tend to focus on every day. When I smoke really good good I actually hallucinate, so on LSD it's other-worldly visual. It happens, the occipital lobe rocks. Just be happy and enjoy your brain
