Hi folks!

I've been looking for a proper answer for an eternity, but couldn't find one. If this has been discussed with satisfying results, please point me to the thread. Otherwise I'll describe how I'm doing it and would love to find out about an easier way!!

-Crush the pill
-Heat in spoon until it slightly changes color (doing this with Tramadol, should probably watch out if your medication degrades at high temperatures)
-Add cold salt water
-Heat again until it boils

The resulting product will still not really be completely in solution, but it seems to kick in a lot faster than when I just eat the pills. If I could just get rid of the nasty salty taste...

I usually mix this with some high proof liquor, vinegar/lemon juice (whatever's available) and a lot of sugar, then down it. Yuk!!!

Would love to hear about a better way.

Fastandbulbous made an excellent method on how to extract morphine from Ms-Contin, but it involves a bit of chemistry but overall not complicated. I will find it for you if you have problems looking for it if you are interested. Just do a search of his name and the word morphine in thread titles. That should point you in the right direction.

^good call, that thread was brilliant. If I weren't on my blackberry i'd find it for you but given the information, just search FnB's name and 'morphine' or 'mscontin', and you should be able to find it.

Here is the thread.

Cane will you do the honors and add it to the directory? Without a doubt it is such an important and potentially life saving thread for those who follow the directions.

I would just like to second this. :)
I've linked F&B's method multiple times since joining bluelight as threads/questions dictated.
Having that post linked in a directory seems beneficial to many a bluelighter.
