Pet sounds is one the top 5 albums of all time IMO. The real smile would have been a great album(not the one he finished in the 2000's...made it way less psychedelic) the bootleg one. SmileySmile is great when I'm crazy high or tripping on a diet psych like 2c-i.
I feel in love with Pet Sounds after it helped me get through a horrible jwh-081/122/5-meo-dalt panic attack. I found comfort in the chorus of "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" and from then on its been my go-to album for any and all panic/anxiety attacks.
In a way its become my safe place, if that makes any sense.

Pet Sounds is amazing, and its quite psychedelic. "Hang On To Your Ego" is a great LSD song.
Yeah, Brian Wilson was tripping on acid when he wrote the album.

I thought panda was more of a 2c/MDMA type of guy At least that is what I like to think when I'm tripping face of a 2c and jamming him.

Found it while in the depth of an MXE binge (which I'm currently on again...)
Am I the only one who finds the tracks "All I wanna do" on Sunflower significantly similar to "Guys Eyes" from Merriweather Post Pavilion?

Yeah now that you mention it. How do you feel about Today? Some of the songs could have been on Pet Sounds if they had cooler lyrics. Same great sound though.
Actually I haven't listened to it yet. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Just downloaded it and am currently listening "Do you want to dance?"

Yeah not that song..but I can't remember if it is the last half or the first half of the album is like a different album altogether. You will know when you get there.
