i only have a gram scale. i plan to way out .1g and cut that into 10 lines. planning on only doing 1-2 lines, and then putting the rest back in the bag and hiding it. i might start out even doing only half of 1 of the 10 lines. i'm definitely not taking any DXM with the MXE, but probably alot of cannabis, 25-50mgs benedryl, and .5-1mg klonopin before/during to combat the MXE speediness...

mxe isn't speedy at all, in fact, it's quite sedating. Did you say you're going to do 10mg lines and possibly only 5? I started around 25mg and didn't get crazy strong effects. I would personally leave out all the other drugs you mentioned. I only took some loratidine with it because I either have some slight histamine reaction or my allergies were acting up. A lot of people find cannabis to induce more paranoia/unpleasant experiences so if I were you, I'd get a feel for it before using ANYTHING else.

I don't smoke often but the one time I did smoke on it, it became EXTREMELY strong and it's the only time I have 'm-hole' effects but I tend to be really cautious and keep doses on the lower-end rather than taking massive ones.

I strongly recommend reading through all the erowid pages and the Big and Dandy threads in PD so you have a better idea of what you're getting into.
 
1-2 lines. starting out with 1/2 of the first line to test if i'm allergic. i can leave out the DPH/kpin, but it will be hard for me not to smoke...

Since you usually can't exhibit an allergic reaction upon first exposure to something, you don't really need to start with a low dose unless you plan on waiting 2 weeks and repeating it (there are some antibodies that apply to multiple compounds but this is less common).

I assume you'll be snorting since you're referring to lines? Keep in mind if you're used to snorting other drugs, it's not really stronger and hardly comes on quicker via this route. The peak for me has still been like 40 minutes or so after insufflation. I personally haven't noticed much difference at all between insufflation, ingestion or sublingual administration.

If you're going to smoke, that's less worrisome but I'd definitely start out slow to see how you react rather than puffing down an entire blunt as fast as you can smoke it ;)

Definitely a lot closer to ketamine than DXM and I wouldn't call them hallucinogens. They CAN produce some hallucinations and similar effects but so can deliriants! mxe, DXM, ketamine, PCP and analogues of these are all dissociatives and their effects are primarily (but not exclusively) derived from NMDA-antagonsim whereas classical hallucinogens primarily affect serotonin.
 
DXM isn't so much a hallucinogen...I think of dissociatives and hallucinogens into completely different categories...kinda like denoting the difference between alternative and metal...similar, yet having completely different unique personalities...I've never done K...but I have dropped 960mg of DXM (and I know that isn't a WHOLE lot...but it was 32 pills) at once...Spent the first 4 hours of my trip on another plane of existence lol...

Is MXE like a designer drug?

And you can get away with having chemicals mailed to you? I find that so odd lol...I'm almost afraid it would make the man watch me more closely...

Also...is it a crime to have PIHKAL/TIHKAL on one's hard drive?

If it's a chemical, wouldn't it be better to use foil/bic pen or a dope pipe (liquid incense burner, glass dick, w/e you wanna call it)?

He said he was going to smoke while using mxe - I wouldn't recommend trying to smoke mxe using any form but yeah, chasing it would make more sense than trying to make a blunt! ;)

It is "not intended for human use"
It is for "plant fertilizer" or "chemists"

It's not a scheduled drug and it's technically an analogue of a C-III drug and analogue laws in the US only apply to C-I and C-II substances. As long as the vendor does not sell it for human consumption, it's legal to possess and distribute. Most of the vendors OPENLY distribute it.

Just recently the DEA announced that several RC's would be emergency scheduled 30 days from the announcement so it's perfectly legal to buy, possess or distribute those up until that takes effect.

Typically these drugs are completely legal for a very short time, then they become media sensations when people start dying or making youtube videos, then politicians try to ban them or they are emergency scheduled and then people move on to the next batch.

^ yup and I didn't know that until after I'd tried it and it kind of blew my mind! I had no idea that I'd communicated with the guy who made the last drug I tried.
 
pretty impressive. i've seen that substance mentioned a lot recently. didn't know he--the bluelighter or the drug guy Vice is obsessed with--was the creator until i just read your post.

i guess if it compares to K and is currently slipping through the cracks, i understand why it is such a hit.
 
In a sufficient dose, it'll pretty much kill any pain but it is NOT a suitable drug for pain management... not even close.

Hydro - not only is it comparable to k (unlike most RC's that are poor substitutes for their illegal counterparts) but it actually improves on ketamine in respect to the side effect profile.

The drug is FAR from benign as the chemist explains from his personal experience in that article and even used 'responsibly' has drawbacks but as far as the RC market goes, there is a reason that it's booming now. With that said, if it gets any more popular, it'll be illegal VERY soon.
 
^ yeah, one of the ways that early vendors skirted analogue laws was by claiming that what they were selling was for research purposes and not human consumption.
