I knew that :D we share the same view, I think it can be applied to the world at large ;)

@Siccness - try and hang in there for a bit it sounds you have some family support and you haven't as yet jumped back on the crazy train, for reasons that can only be speculated upon the UK doesn't, as yet see much meth so I can't speak from direct experience. But I know enough about it and stims in general to know how destructive but strangely alluring they can be, for me time was the greatest healer, the more distant that life of being awake for days on end and obsessing over the amount of drugs I had left and the next dose as well as all the paranoid and psychotic thoughts the less I wanted to go back there.

Hello BDD! How are we all today, coping with life I hope. I'm just living and learning, whilst smiling of course.
Even when I'm dying inside I still smile, because it often makes others smile too, and the thought I've made someone else smile makes my smile genuine.

Hey Ms Effie, is that now an adequate title ? , I'll have to be on my best behaviour from here on in (if anyone can help me out with that one, all suggestions gratefully received);)

The leg is much the same, they are going to remove this open cast next week and do a CT scan (probably not in that order) I should be getting some new fangled metal frame thing instead of this heavy cast. Its all a bit weird since I've not actually seen the wound from the operation or any of the scans of x rays pre or post op, I'm hoping the Surgeon was giving me the worst possible case and that its pulling back together, he said the top of the tibia was in more pieces than he could count:\

Still sun is shinning here today and I got a wheelchair yesterday so with a bit of help from Mrs atm I should be getting out of the house for a bit today, work still haven't managed to sort out my remote connection, I've had to chase them up myself and it turns out IT didn't have my home address, at least I have a full email trail of me chasing and chasing HR and my boss to get this sorted so if they try to pay me anything other than full pay I'll not be happy.

Wow, didn't realise how much this social had changed in terms of regulars, just skimmed through the last few pages and there are only a couple of names that I remember when I was modding here, lots of people I don't know at all, which can be remedied if I post here more often :) but it sure has changed since the old days.

I need to get to know the new regulars before I start posting again here more often, I seem to just skim posts from people I don't know too well and have not too much to say in return as I don't know them yet, I'm sure it will come in time but, can someone post a quick summary of each regular for me please to get me started 8)



edit - just seen about your promotion effster, nice one :) you deserve it, keep up the good work, don't forget who first nudged you to become a mod though ;) (you would have been modding by now though even if that nudge had never come, I am pretty sure of that :) )

I should be getting my laptop back up and running in the next few days, so hopefully we'll have a chance to catch up on AIM when that happens. I've gotta keep all that stuff off the family computer since it's enough of a pain to delete my history every time I'm logging off the computer, so I don't even bother with AIM.

We shall catch up soon though.
