Benzonatate is sold as yellow or blue 100 mg and 200 mg softgel capsules. Initial dose is one 100 mg perle (gelcap) by mouth, 3 times a day. Dosage may be increased as necessary, up to a maximum of 600 mg per day.[1]

Their only citation for that info is Medecinenet.com ... so I can't say its the most trustworthy, but it looks like you could take more than one with little problem up to 600mg per day. It also mentions that you should not crush or break the capsules; i'd follow that advice as well.

I crushed it once, numbs your throat and mouth and your throat swells a bit.

PJ, glad to hear you got out without horrible withdrawals!

I have come off hydrocodone many times so I know that can be rough. I was always prescribed the 10/325 APAP preparations and you can actually take 120mg hydrocodone/day staying under the FDA limit of 4g APAP/day. Careful with the ibuprofen over a long period - many people seemingly tolerate it well while they are doing quite a bit of nastiness to their GI tract taking large doses like that. I always tried to stick with Cox-2 inhibitors like celecoxib for inflammation because by not inhibiting cyclooxygenase 1 (as most NSAIDS unnecessarily do), they don't reduce stomach lining production or cause the host of GI problems that NSAIDS typically do.

That sucks that you feel so bad baby! Do you have any opiates? Last time I had bronchitis, my dilaudid was the best cough suppressant in the world. It made it so much better!

I luv u Cane<3 Thank you. Im trying and working on it. Im healthy and happy and i dont want a relapse to take this alll away.

I lucked out of having any finals this semester, one of the few perks of being a grad student

gotta finish a paper about neutrino oscillations and one final homework assignment then i'm done. except that just means i go right to working full time in the lab... so there's no real break
 
mgrady, I'm a grad student as well. Four classes, two semester-long projects, one massive project at the end of the semester...and then one final exam haha

So it goes both ways. Last semester I wish I had just had exams, but this semester I'm happy its more projects and things that you can have a lot more fun with.
