OK - So since Mugsy is gonna go sober on Monday, I figured I would join him. For me this means no Hydro, Kratom, DXM, alcohol or Lyrica. I'm gonna go as long as I can and hopefully lean on you guys a little for some strength.

Don't feel bad, you weren't to know - assumed you read it earlier in the thread or I would have explained it properly. Evad was a moderator in EADD for years and was a huge presence there, and this was his ridiculous clown avatar (one day a mate who was a Smod was fucking with him, changing his avatar to Samuel L Jackson so he just photo-shopped the head onto a dancing clown.. hehe.)

He was also my boyfriend who I love dearly.

Not so great the past 24 hours or so.. think it's finally starting to hit me and his best friend. Still feels unreal and am still a little numb, but yeah.. reality is sinking in.. fuck :(

Funeral isn't until next Friday, it's going to be a really odd week...

It never really sinks in til a few days later does it. This time last year I lost a proper good mate and it took me weeks to get my head around it. I can't tell you it'll get better, I still think of my buddy constantly, but after a period of time when I thought of him I smiled instead of bursting into tears. I still think of Neil Young when I remember him; 'Its better to burn out cos rust never sleeps'.

Nice one Whipped Dream, is there any big reason for your decision? Or do you just feel like havng a break and want to challenge yourself to see if you can?

You've listed all of the drugs that you are not allowed to do. Are there any not on your list that you can do, that you are allowing yourself, I have my prescription, but nothing else is allowed.

Will be good to have someone else on here to be doing this at the same time, we can post about our progress in here and bore all of the drug takers with our tales of non drug induced happiness =D

Anyways, good luck in your quest too :)
