I've been playing off and on on PS3 for a while now. Ended up getting the "premium" membership to save a little money on all the DLC. I regretfully bought a digital copy of the game awhile ago so now with all the DLC and countless fucking updates the game takes up like 50gigs on my 120gig hard drive.
The multiplayer is great though and I especially like how each map pack makes the game so fresh and new. The latest "end game" dlc added both CTF(about fucking time) and dirt bikes which are fucking sick. Of course they also added "Air Supperiority" which is all jets and dog fights. The game is pretty deep as far as mastering it's various different roles and whatever you play as acts like a whole new game in and of itself. Changing from trying to become and elite sniper, an attack heli pilot, a tank commander or just a infantry soldier really changes the whole game. Definitely a great game.

I bought it a while ago for the PC and was immidiately turned off when I had to install Origin.
I still played it a little bit but idk just somethin about it was different than BF2.
I guess it just felt more strategical in the second one whereas from my experience in the third one more people play it like a Deathmatch kind of game.
Like does anyone remember how in the second one you could drop supply crates on your artillery and it would repair itself?
And then the other commander would just arty your arty?
but that takes away his arty from actual use
so I was always the guy sneaking into the other teams base to blow up their shit
then id wait for the plane to spawn and C4 the fuck out of it
but this was only if you had a Support guy with you
idk everything just seemed more like chess instead of checkers
if that makes sense

Yo id play the fuck outta that game online on the PS3. Pretty good to. Then my parents kicked me out. Havnt played since.
